Welcome to A Top View of Topsail, where the name says it all! This oceanfront escape is more than a beach house—it’s a front-row seat to paradise. With breathtaking ocean views in front and peaceful marshland sunsets in the back, this pet-friendly duplex offers the very best of North Topsail Beach. And as of May 2025, you can soak it all in from the brand-new hot tub!

Room to Relax & Reconnect

With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, there’s plenty of space for up to 8 guests. The open-concept living and dining area is the heart of the home—perfect for cooking, sharing meals at the 8-person dining table, or gathering for game nights and movies.

Master Loft Retreat (3rd Floor): A showstopper with a king bed, futon, spa-style soaker tub, upgraded walk-in shower, Roku TV, desk, and wraparound views of the ocean, pond, and marsh. Sunrise coffee or sunset cocktails—this is your sanctuary.

First Floor Comforts: Two queen bedrooms, each with Roku TVs and porch access leading straight to the sand. One includes a private en suite bath, while the other is steps from a shared full bath.

Extra Cozy: A charming fourth bedroom with a twin + pull-out, perfect for kids or extra guests.

The beach outside of this house is beautiful and not crowded at all because the water there is not safe for swimming. It’s wonderful for walking and playing in the sand. If you want to swim you can drive to the nearest public beach access about a mile away.

Lovely location

We enjoyed the house. Lovely view of both sunrise and sunsets. House was well stocked with items needed in a kitchen. A few things needed maintenance and I let the property manager know for future guests. Also if you enjoy seeing military helicopters, this is a great location. We actually enjoyed hearing the artillery shelling occurring across the inlet at the base.

The home sits at the far Northernmost end of Topsail, and it’s located directly on a salt marsh but has a nice (if a bit distant) view of the ocean. It was quiet, especially in the evening and at night, and provided a safe and pleasant stay for our family. It’s very important that renters heed the warnings about bringing essential items with them - including all toiletries, kitchen soap, and every paper product you need. You also need to provide your own beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, beach towels, and every other item you might want for your time near the water. There is a paddle board, but we couldn’t locate a paddle at the property. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, and the wooden walkway is a bit overgrown with foliage and needs a bit of work. Highly recommend that you wear thick flip-flops or slides when you’re walking to and from the beach. The furniture is older, but comfortable - the beds (you will need to make up the beds on arrival and take them down when you leave) are foam mattresses but adequate and supportive. The house is a bit dated but charming in its own right. Plenty of room in the main level, and it’s nice that the master suite is on a third floor. Be aware that the master bedroom is open to the main floor; if privacy is important, this might be an issue for you. The beach near the property is very nice, and very family friendly. The folks we met were quite friendly. We enjoyed our stay.
