Lovely Little Lake House - A serene getaway close to the city

Welcome to Little Lake, one of the best kept secrets! This 3 bdrm bungalow offers an upgraded open concept kitchen/dining rm with large living room with a gas fireplace. Walk out to large deck over looking the lake. Plenty of yard space for playing games with large firepit to enjoy . This spring fed lake is great for swimming and fishing with a clay bottom. Located between Brighton and Colborne with lots of amenities close by including The Big Apple, Prince Edward County wineries etc.... In the months of July and August, minimum booking is 7 days from Saturday to Saturday.

The place was outstanding. The view was great. It was very clean, tidy and organized. It was well stocked with everything we needed and more. Awewome kitchenware and utensils. The bed was the best bed we have ever slept in, very cozy and comfortable. The cabin was quiet and bright with lots of windows. The Hosts were super friendly and responding quickly if needed. Even shovelled the snow for us! would stay there again. This hosts have mastered hospitality.!!

It was the perfect spot - I was very disappointed that we did not have the time to utilize the whole property or enmities. We will have to rent this again, when we have time to relax.

The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The place was also spotless. We loved sitting by the lake drinking coffee. We hope to come back!

Thanksgiving at the Lovely Little Lake House

Our family was thankful to spend the holiday weekend at this cozy cottage, offering everything one could possibly need for a quiet, relaxing getaway. We especially appreciated the cottage ambience and property. Amenities were top notch...a functional, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, space to lounge by the warmth of the gas fireplace/heating when it got chilly, and the overall cottage decor, including thoughtful seasonal touches (pumpkins to greet at the door and inside too). Wonderful lake views from the windows/decks, especially the sunsets. The cottage is easy to access and in close proximity to many local attractions, we enjoyed apple season and hiking at Presqu'ile Provincial Park. Christa is a responsive, gracious and most welcoming host. Highly recommend this gem in Brighton!

Amazing place

This really is a lovely little lake house! I plan on booking again for sure. When I arrived the wifi had dropped offline. Sent a message to the owner and under ten min later they arrived and fixed it! Wonderful service! Kids loved all the outdoor activities included at the property. Didn’t see a screen out the entire time.

Wow!

Of my many VRBO stays over the years, I think Lovely Little Lake House was the best. Fully equipped, beautifully decorated, wonderful outdoor amenities (shaded porch, fire pit with plenty of fuel, clean level shoreline, kayaks, etc. etc.) Handy for exploring Presquile Park, and interesting small towns. You will want for nothing at this home away from home.

Amazing getaway.

A perfect little escape for our family. The house was immaculate and well planned with lovely decor. Everything we needed was there. We had a great time in the paddle boat and the kayaks, and had a fantastic fire in the fire pit. We are definitely planning to return. I would highly recommend this spot.

Lovely Little Lake House

The Lovely Little Lake House is exactly what this property is. The house is beautiful and thoughtfully decorated with all amenities you could want. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. The host went above and beyond with any questions or concerns we had. I can’t wait till we can visit this cottage again.
