Short get away

Staying at the lake house on Lake Klinger was a delight. The dock was a standout feature—perfect for relaxing, fishing, or jumping into the water. The house itself was spotless and well-maintained, with a cozy, welcoming vibe. Everything was neatly organized, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. Highly recommend for a peaceful lakeside getaway!

Long Weekend

Overall, a great place to get away with family. Water is clean, clear, and sandy. Plenty of things that family could use on water, like kayaks, life vests. Great location with great neighbors with kids of all ages. Nearby restaurant/bar with good food for all ages. Only negative was only one full bathroom which made bath/showers at night longer. Would definitely stay here again.

Shipshewana lights up

We very much enjoyed our stay in your home. We had everything we needed and more. It was very clean. The beds were fantastic as were the pillows. Great quality linens. I appreciate that and a good night sleep. The home was beautiful and decorated nicely. It was wonderful having coffee in the morning with the lake right outside our window. Thank you so much for making our trip to see the Christmas lights in Shipshewana that much more memorable

Old Friends Reunion

This was a beautiful property! We had sunny weather and enjoyed sitting on the deck with the amazing lake view. The only downside was that the one full bathroom was inside the master suite. This was not convenient at all for 6 people.

Girls Weekend

Pros: There were 7 of us women that enjoyed our stay and would come back for another weekend. We were pleasantly surprised that there was more comfortable outdoor seating than shown in the pictures. Most of us spent the entire day outside paddle boarding and floating in the lake and gathering around the fire pit at night. They had everything you could want available to use, beach towels, camping chairs, lake toys and floats, patio umbrellas on the porch and dock, a table inside large enough to seat all of us so we could comfortably laugh and play games, the beds/pillows were all new and comfortable. Cons: the house has its quirks, probably from what seems like foundation issues? It’s visibly crooked when inside. The upstairs bathroom door doesn’t stay closed on its own so you either use it with the door open or put the laundry basket in front of the door to keep it from swinging open. Couple of broken lamps & outlets that didn’t work. Tried to open a couple of windows that look out to the lake but some were stuck closed. We also lost power on Saturday night, unsure why as there were no storms happening but it was the whole lake that lost power not just the house. The power came back on the next morning before checkout. Though the cons list may seem long none of it took away from the overall wonderful experience we had.

Longtime Friends Get-together

The lake and lakefront area were amazing! We spent almost entire time on the decks enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Our one complaint about the home was that the only full bathroom was inside the master suite and not easily accessible to the other bedrooms (and the doorknob latch was broken so the door would not stay shut). We made do, but suggest fixing for future guests! Otherwise it is a super getaway place!
