The space
Love in the Mist is a timber cabin surrounded by gardens, with high ceilings and lovely views from the loft bedroom. There is ample space to cook, eat and relax either inside or out on the porch. The cabin has been recently renovated with a new bathroom and floors, and updated furnishings and appliances.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire house, porch, outdoor area and gardens at the front of the property.

Blissful stay

It was a cute cottage in the woods - wonderful for a relaxing getaway nearby the mountains of Dandenong. Thankful for the time there to rest.

Quiet delight

Quiet, secluded spot with good access to The Hills. The property was everything we had hoped for and our host provided a lovely welcome enabling us to have a wonderful visit.

Has everything but no sun

Would have been better if someone had been there to show me how to use the coffee machine & the central heating & return the cottage key to the lock box. Breakfast supplies were greatly appreciated. Lighting was very subdued. Understand this was their first time renting it out. A pleasant stay but only slept there as I was visiting family.

We are keen gardeners who have enjoyed restoring the garden with indigenous plants and observing the wildlife that visit us. We love food, nature and water, and have stayed n many lovely holiday homes around Victoria ourselves. We hope our guests love our place too and get out to see some of the fabulous spots in the Dandenong Ranges.

Love in the Mist is a spacious home suitable for a romantic weekend, or a longer term stay. The high timber ceilings, vintage cabinetry, gas log fire and full library make for a cozy holiday The property has recently been renovated with quality furnishings, bed linen and kitchen supplies. You can make your favourite coffees with the espresso machine and enjoy fine teas from nearby Sassafras. Sit outside on the porch and enjoy the extensive gardens.
