For our travelers safety Luxevaca and Myvho are meeting all OSHA Hotel and Lodging regulations. As well as ozonating our homes to kill all bacteria and virus in the air!
Darling two-story cottage with Ocean view on a lot in a premier location close to downtown, Lovers Point and the recreation trail. Features include warm floors, walls, ceilings and windows, kitchen and living room open vaulted ceilings, fenced small patio with french doors. forever home vacation retreat to Paradise.

Lovers point area is used for picnicking, fishing, swimming, water sports, and surfing. Lovers Point's amenities include a large lawn area, a beach volleyball court, a children's swimming pool, sandy beaches, rocky outcrops, a concrete pier structure, a restaurant, and a snack bar. It is popular for weddings and is home of the annual Feast of Lanterns pageant and fireworks celebration.
Please beware before booking your stay that our property management company requires you to sign a contract additionally, in order to provide check-in instructions and grant access to the property.

Mermaid cottage review

Me and my wife stayed here for 6 months and it was wonderful. A half a block away from the most beautiful coast line in the country. There is nothing like waking up and looking out the window to see whales jumping. Didn't have any issues with property managers. They were very tentative and even brought us a Brady cradle when my little nephew came to visit.

So Sad to Leave this Place

The Lover's Point Mermaid Cottage was the perfect place to spend my month of October. My expectations were exceeded! The location was ideal and allowed me to easily get out and walk the ocean path 3-4 times a day. I was able to work in front of the 2nd floor front window and stare out at the ocean all day! And Pacific Grove stole my heart. I loved walking around downtown and stopping in the shops and restaurants.

Lovely Beach House

Beautiful place to spend a month. One house back from Ocean View Blvd, which is actually nice when the weekend crowds descend on Lover's Point. The view of Monterey Bay from the living room window is better than pictured - plenty of otter sightings and even a whale. Matthew and his team were very responsive to our requests. Our only regret is not booking a longer stay.

Great location and property

Lover's Point Mermaid Cottage exceeded our expectations for ocean access and for ease of walking to shops and restaurants. Little gem by the sea

We had a wonderful time at this little house. The views from the second floor were amazing. My 4 year old love using the binoculars to look at boats on the water. It was very clean and comfortable. I don’t think the pictures do it justice. The house had everything you would need. It even had a drawer full of sand toys for the beach. The only negative we found was that the lighting in the house is very harsh. I think the lights must be older LEDs or something. We spent most nights with the lights off in the living room. It felt a little like we were sitting under stadium lights.

Great Location and Comfortable Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at Lover's Point. The house was perfect for our 5 person family. The 2 full baths were great for getting everyone out the door (I have 2 daughters). The proximity to Pacific Grove and Monterey Bay is really nice, I jogged/walked to Monterey Bay aquarium every morning on shoreline jogging/biking trail. We are looking forward to coming back in the future. Thank you!

Great Stay

We really enjoyed the Cottage. It fit my 5 person family very well. The location was simply awesome. I jogged the shoreline trail every morning and we walked into town to get an ice cream. It is a short drive from Pavel's Backerei (which has the most awesome breakfast, and sour dough for your 17 mile drive).

very clean, great location, only down side was having to deal with the stairs , bedrooms downstairs everything including 2nd bathroom were upstairs, not a deal breaker but could be for elderly or those with knee issues .Other then that would stay there again

Cute home with great views of water

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is very clean and loved the living room and kitchen being on the second floor so we had views of the ocean over the houses in front of us. It is really decorated beach and has plenty of dishes and pans if you wish to cook at home instead of eating out. The bathrrooms are very nice, the only drawback being one was on the second floor. We would have enjoyed an outdoor grill, perhaps on the back patio?

Fantastic place to stay!

The location was fabulous with great accomodations. It had everything one could ask for. We only had one vehicle, so parking was not an issue. I would highly reccommend this rental for anyone looking to get away and enjoy the oceans marinelife, (lots of otters, seals, and whales)!

Quiet place, uncomfortable seating

It's on a quiet street very close to the shore. The beds were good. However, the seating in the common room was very uncomfortable and in part broken. The fold-down couch was made of heavy wood so it was hard to manipulate. It was also broken. I discovered after the first uncomfortable night that there were several pieces of wood on the floor from the break. They sent someone out to fix it, but it still was dangerous to use. Sharp screws stuck out where the repair was done and I pinched my fingers pretty severely while trying to fold it down to use as a bed. Since the only two options were to be in the common room or to be in a small bedroom, the lack of comfortable seating in the common room was a severe shortcoming and made our trip less enjoyable.

Absolutely Beautiful Place

I loved the cottage. Everything was just perfect from the communication to the amenities. The moment I showed up to the place I knew that it was going to a home away from home paradise. It was my first visit to Monterey. I was visiting to celebrate my brother's 50th birthday celebration. Pacific Grove was just the right place to stay. The cottage was very clean the rooms and beds were all nice. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and if I ever visit Pacific Grove I would book this place again.
