Welcome to Tús Nua , our slice of paradise on the North Shore of PEI!

Perfect location - 5 mins to Brackley Beach, Deckers Dairy Bar, Barachois Beach(a local favourite!) and Gallants store , 10 mins to North Rustico, 15 mins to Cavendish and Charlottetown.2 mins to our local convenience/gas store that has a liquor license and a tasty take out spot. Family and Pet friendly!

Downstairs there is the first bedroom with a queen bed, large closet and direct access to the downstairs bathroom through a cheater door which allows you to use it like an ensuite.

The living space is open plan with a gorgeous handmade reclaimed wood farmhouse table with two benches and can seat 8 ppl. The best views can be seen from the living room where you can enjoy a glass of wine while on the couch and enjoy breathtaking views over Rustico Bay.

Upstairs we have two bedrooms to the front of the house. The first bedroom has a king bed, walk in wardrobe and beautiful views of Rustico Bay. The second bedroom has two trundle beds, large closet and also has beautiful views of Rustico Bay. The final bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed, large closet and looks out over the large yard.

To the back of the house upstairs we have the games room which has a ping pong table,foosball, putting green, board games, fridge and views over the back of the large yard.

Some Beach towels, a bag and some chairs are provided for your convenience for you to utilize during your stay.

Lawn and outdoor games - Washer Toss,bocce ball, Soccer ball

High chair and pack and play is also available for your little ones.

The TV is a smart TV so you can connect to Netflix, Prime, Crave or just stream music.

Heat pumps for Air conditioning is available in the living room, games room and one upstairs bedroom. Ceiling fans and 2 table fans are also available to use should you need.

Patio has a glass outdoor dining table which seats 4 comfortably, outdoor seating (love seat, 2 chairs and coffee table) and BBQ.

There is a double hammock with a mosquito net so you can enjoy the views over the bay morning, afternoon or evening.

We arrived to a lovely basket of PEI goodies. The house was immaculate with everything and more that we needed. It had a lovely view and beautiful gardens. The location was central to everything making it easy to tour the island. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were plentiful. We are already talking about booking again for next summer. We rate it 10/10Lee was wonderful and kept in touch the whole week.

Idyllic Island Home away from home

Terrific 4 bed home overlooking tranquil and gorgeous Oyster Bay Bridge that was very functional and comfortable. From here, we had a ideal location to explore PEI in either direction and loved it! Lee was a very attentive and accommodating host and we would highly recommend this property for any family family looking to combine serenity with convenience to explore this stunningly beautiful island.

Central PEI cottage

Fantastic cottage with everything needed to entertain our entire family (children, teens, parents and grandparents). Very centrally located which was nice as we could go to a different beach everyday and run into Charlottetown for market days! Not quite on the water but you are able to see the oyster beds from the front window but do have to cross a busier road to get down to the wharf (no swimming).

Fun family vacation

This cottage was perfect for our family vacation! We had two sets of grand-parents and two kids with us. The bedrooms were big and very comfortable with newer beds and bedding. The living area and kitchen were also spacious and we loved the nice view of the bay accross the street. The kids especially liked the game room! The location was also great as we spent many days at Brakley Beach and explored North Rustico and Cavendish. Thank you to Lee, our host, for answering all our questions and making our stay memorable!

Family Wedding

This house was absolutely great. It was clean, comfortable, well equipped and looked exactly like the pictures. It has very spacious rooms and lots of room to spread out. My family was there for a wedding at the venue just down the road. Everything was perfect. I hope to visit PEI again soon and would definitely book this house. Lee the owner even left a very thoughtful wedding gift and card for my son that was getting married.

Hi and Welcome!

My name is Lee and my husbands name is Matthew. We are both from Ireland and moved to Canada in 2017. We lived in Toronto first and then moved to PEI in 2019 where we bought our dream home on the North Shore.We love travelling and have stayed in many Airbnb's or VRBO's but are new to hosting. We have two dogs (Macy and Maggie, both Aussies) and love spending time outdoors. We now live 10 mins away from Tus Nua on a 13 acre homestead where we have chickens (farm fresh eggs anyone?).

We look forward to welcoming you to Tús Nua and welcome any feedback you have to help us improve our property!
