Big Fish Getaways
“Catch memories, not just fish.”
Wake up to the sound of the New River, step outside to fish or kayak, and end your day in a private hot tub overlooking the water.
Sleeps 6+ · 3 Bedrooms · 2 Baths · Separate Guest Cottage
Direct river access · Complimentary kayaks · 30 min to Virginia Tech · Pet-friendly
The Layout
This property is designed for flexibility — whether you’re a family, a group of friends, or a mix of both.
The main house has two bedrooms: a primary suite with a king bed and a second bedroom with twin beds, ideal for kids or additional guests. The full kitchen and large dining table are made for shared meals, and the living room sofa sleeper handles overflow when you need it.
The real differentiator is the separate Little House — a private guest cottage with a queen bed and its own full bathroom. It’s ideal for couples who want their own space, grandparents traveling with family, or friends who don’t want to share a wall.
On the Water
This isn’t “near” the river. You’re on it.
Step out the back door and you’re standing on one of the most productive muskie fishing stretches of the New River. Smallmouth bass fishing is excellent year-round, and trophy muskie are regularly landed on this section. Complimentary kayaks are included — fish at sunrise, float in the afternoon, and never leave the property.
Outdoor Living
The large deck overlooks the river and centers around a private hot tub with open water views. Coffee at sunrise. Wine at sunset. River all day.
Virginia Tech & Radford University
Lane Stadium is 30 minutes away — this property books fast on football weekends, so plan ahead. Radford University is just 20 minutes out, making it an easy base for graduations, campus visits, and family weekends at both schools.
