Clean and Cosy

The home was very clean and warm. It is Perfectly located within the Blue Mountains. The fireplace living area and garden offered plenty of space for the whole family to spend time together. Would stay again.

Girls weekend

Lovely house with massive fireplace. Big bathroom with underfloor heating was so nice. Great location, we walked into leura mall and back.

Great for a weekend in the mountains

We had a great weekend stay in Luera. This property is a short drive to Luera Mall and Katoomba Town Centre. The living room is very large and kitchen well appointed. It was a very cold weekend and the heaters work well and the fireplace was greatbb

Peaceful stay in Leura

Location of the property is close to Leura shopping mall. The weather was unfortunately cold and wet when we were there, so we put on the fire and played some board games. The house was very cosy and was clean. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was definately an added bonus !

Nice and cosy hluse

Clean, easy check in and nice little cottage with a beautiful fire place and a lovely garden . It would have been nice to have wood fire ready even if it was not the high season for using the chimney ! It can be chilly in the blue mountains in spring and the fire place is the highlight of this house!!

Complete package

An older style cottage but fully stocked with everything you need. Comfy warm beds. FYI open fireplaces don’t really heat up a living area this big in winter but gas heaters there were adequate. BYO firewood and kindling. It’s a massive fireplace - great aesthetic

Old house in a great location

The house is in a great location with lots of great bushwalks and attractions nearby.The house is quite old with things like creaky floorboards and doors that are difficult to open and close. This is not an issue for most but something to be aware of.It could also do with a more thorough clean, for example many roof corners inside have lots of cobwebs.

Lovely Leura house

We had a great time staying in this house. The fireplace is huge and a striking centrepiece of the lounge room. There are two great gas heaters to warm the living areas while the fire gets going. It’s on a pretty street and there is a lovely, short, bushwalk at the end of the street called the Pool of Siloam. A few minutes drive to the Main Street of Leura and a few minutes more to Katoomba. The kitchen was really well-provisioned, with coffee pods, teabags, oil, spices etc. The hosts had left us a bottle of wine andb a couple of craft beers. Would definitely stay again!

Some issues with the house

The house is lovely. Unfortunately we had some issues. When we arrived, the cleaning wasn’t done. The owners were very apologetic and asked us to come back at 6pm. Also, the plumbing had issues. The toilets were not flushing properly which was unpleasant. The house was otherwise lovely. The fireplace was beautiful and we enjoyed the Bluetooth sound system. The extra heaters worked well too.
