Such a beautiful studio, overlooking the Barwon river, with tree top views across to the City of Geelong. It has every comfort too. Extremely comfortable king sized bed. And a lovely bottle of red & lindt chocs greeted us on arrival. Just perfect. The electric log fire was a bonus on a cool weekend. Such ambience

Would recommend The River and The Owl without any hesitation, beautiful and peaceful surroundings and very safe for anyone travelling alone as I was. Very well appointed apartment with eclectic furnishings, would have liked to be able to stay longer

Simply beautiful

The apartment is very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The attention to detail is outstanding. Enjoyed discovering all the large and small details that clearly show a lot of attention without being too much. Great place for couples.

The property is ideally set-up for a couple looking for a quiet relaxing holiday. It was roomy, but cosy and included all the conveniences you need to either dine in or dine out. It is very close to the Barwon River with easy access to the walking track. Overall, an excellent location for a couple to have a great holiday

Tranquil hideaway

Set in beautiful gardens the apartment was clean and beautifully presented. Perfect for what we were looking for set in a quiet court right across the road from the Barron river and great walking tracks. The apartment was a home away from home and the bed was very comfortable . Jennifer was a great host and was very responsive as we booked the day before we travelled. Her attention to detail and amenities provided exceeded our expectations. Would love to return in the near future.

Welcoming and comfortable

We had a lovely stay. It was a home away from home. The bed is incredibly comfortable. Nice touches with muesli, marmalade and wine made us feel welcome.

Luxurious and cozy

Definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed - the photos are great but still don’t do this place justice, it’s so much better in person. Beautifully designed and carefully put together apartment. Private with a great view of the Highton treetops. We really appreciated that the owners left a great red wine for us to start our weekend break with, and there was plenty of supplies like coffee and muesli in the kitchen Great location, only 10minutes from the centre of Geelong Would stay again and will recommend to others Thanks for the great stay!!! 😀
