Nice place near Heights

Two bedroom, well equiped kitchen, laundry, very clean pool and great view of the downtown near Greater Heights neighborhood. Secure parking and lots to do nearby.

Amazing rental

I had a fantastic time here and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Houston. The condo is beautiful, well decorated, and modern. It is less than 10 minutes from downtown, which makes for a perfect commute. It is very close to the bars and restaurants in the heights. I encourage everyone to stay here, great place and fantastic host!

Great place for extended stay.

Great location. In the heights, and easy access to freeways in all directions. Lots of restaurants to choose from, minutes to galleria or memorial city. Stayed for 2 months and was very comfortable the entire time. Covered, safe parking garage. Beautiful views of downtown. 2 Nd bedroom has hide-a-bed, just an FYI. Owner nice and communicative throughout stay.

Comfortable well equipped condo. Nice location.

Enjoyed our stay in this condo just a short distance from downtown Houston. Kitchen is very well equipped if you like to cook. Master bedroom & bath was very roomy. Condo was clean & well maintained. Parking is inside & secure. Lot's of windows & natural light. Nice pool. Jim was very helpful offering some nice suggestions of things to see & do while we were visiting Houston.

Perfect Place and Perfect Location!

I booked The Point at White Oak from May 7th-May 10th, 2013 and couldn't be more pleased. I had booked the condo for my Fiance's mom and 3 siblings who were flying into Houston for our engagement and they absolutely loved it. The location was in a perfect area, the condo was clean upon arrival, and the owner was amazing to work with. There is always extra value in additional hospitality, but Jim's responsiveness to any questions and extra efforts to ensure his tenants have everything they need goes above and beyond what you normally see. The condo is spacious and the building is beautiful. I would highly recommend this condo and will be reaching out to Jim next time I need a place.

Loved this place!

The 2 bedroom 2 bath condo has been a great place to stay. Plenty of room. Nice and convenient location with many amenities. The host has been terrific to communicate with and we want to stay here again!

Great apartment in great location

This unit is in a nice modern building and in a good location. My daughter and I stayed and felt very safe in the building/neighborhood. We liked the location as we were able to walk to a coffee shop/bookstore nearby as well as the White Oak Bayou. Very close to downtown Houston. The apartment is fully stocked with pots/pans/dishes, washer/dryer, etc. We liked the openness of the unit. There were a few issues during our stay but the owner was very responsive and accommodating and tried to help as best as he could. I would stay there again if I were to visit Houston again.

Good value, good location

Convenient location. Owner was great to work with. Very responsive to issues. A bit cluttered but the place had everything we needed and plenty of room to spread out.

Amazing stay for travel nurses

My best friend and I stayed here for three months while we took a travel nursing assignment in Houston. I am so happy we chose this condo. Jim was so welcoming and was always available if we had any questions. He even took us out to a delicious dinner at a very nice restaurant around town. The location is perfect. Houston heights is a great place and so close to the city, but feels like you are in a suburb. It is only about 1.5 miles to downtown. Also this condo has two covered parking spots which is a great deal. There are beautiful running trails and great restaurants all in walkable distances. Our commute to the Med center never took over 15 minutes and traffic was never much to get anywhere because we were already so close to everything. I would suggest this condo to anyone and we already miss it and can't wait to go back. Thank you for everything Jim!

This unit has everything, including great locale.

This like-new property was bright, clean and modern. Very convenient location near downtown and freeway entrances. Nice to sit on the deck, while there was highway noise there; the unit itself is very quiet. Parking was wonderful. Pool was lovely and by early April was warm enough for swimming when we had a visit from our 3 granddaughters. Kitchen is well-stocked as were bookshelves. Owner was very helpful and responsive to questions. We enjoyed Cafe Brussels, Target, Kaboom Books, and the downtown YMCA. Used the light rail line nearby to reach Rice University. Would certainly recommend this and hope to return.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Jim's place for 1 month and it was such a wonderful experience. The condo gave us this feeling of dynamism and we had everything we needed at our disposal. The location was really good and the views of downtown were amazing in the evening all throughout the night. Very good lighting inside the apartment and well furnished aswell. Also we were expecting the place to be quite noisy but no, not at all! It was really silent and calm. We always felt safe and protected. Jim was always fast to assist us when we had any problems. I definitely would recommend this place, you will not regret it. Whenever I go back to Houston this will be my first place on the list.

Fabulous and Homey

Stayed at Jim's place for 6 days in May 2014 and felt instantly at home. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very well appointed...even with a Jiffy Steamer! The location is perfect with close proximity to all central locations in Houston. We enjoyed the neighbourhood with many pubs and restaurants nearby. Other than that, Jim has been extremely helpful from the booking process to time of our stay. We look forward to returning during our next visit to Houston.

A Really Cool Place

I had the pleasure of staying in Jim’s condo for over 4 months and so it really became a home for me. It’s in a great neighborhood and has fantastic views of downtown Houston. I felt safe at all times. The other owners were always friendly and helpful. Having lived in Houston for many years I had lots of friends to reconnect with. Everyone visiting me at the condo said it was, “a really cool place.”

Our stay at Jim's Houston condo was great. There were four of us, two couples traveling together. The condo was spacious, very clean, well stocked, & comfortable. It would be very helpful to have a car if renting this condo. It's in a good location to get to a lot of different places, plus there's assigned, covered, & secure parking under the building. NASA Engineers Return Houston

Three of us were in Houston for a 50th Reunion of NASA's Manned Spaecraft Center founding. We had reviewed the property on line and found all descriptions and photos accurate; but, we were even more impressed with the actual condo and all of its "refinements" -- coffee grider, expresso unit, etc. The cleanliness, safety and convenience to Rice, The Houston Fine Arts Museum and local eating was great! We spent the week at Jim's and enjoyed every minute. Of particular note was the ease in getting hold of Jim to answer questions on the area or about the condo. We would highly recommend this property to all -- families and business.

Wonderful stay, fantastic condo

We were in Houston for a week attending a conference at the George Brown Convention Center and this condo was WONDERFUL! Not only was it convenient to the Convention Center it was close to grocery and restaurants. We did rent a car, as I would suggest anyone to do, the public transportation is a little difficult to figure out. The condo is well maintained, very clean, secure and so friendly. The best was the open conversation with the owner, he called to check all was ok, and constant communication prior to our trip. The Master bath is wonderful! Cannot wait to visit again!

Fantastic Condo

We've stayed in HomeAway rentals in Paris, London, Edinburgh, Montreal, and now Houston. This owner was the most amiable, agreeable, accommodating and responsive we've ever had the pleasure to deal with. The condo itself was very well located, secure, comfortable and well equipped. The owner has an incredible library that was so tempting - but there were so many things to do in Houston. The beds and bedding are first class and I slept better there than I do in my own bed. The neighbors were friendly, the parking was easy, the air conditioning easily handled the heat and the downtown views are incredible. This was a great place and Jim is a joy to work with. I heartily recommend this condo.

Excellent apartment, ideal for conference center

Myself and two colleagues were in town for week at the George R Brown convention center and did not want to stay in an impersonal hotel, we chose Jim's apartment based on it's location and good reviews - we were not disappointed. The apartment was clean, well furnished and equipped (with an excellent blender!) with a foldaway bed for our third party member. The journey to the CC took between7-10 minutes and is a simple route with little traffic. Jim was very helpful and commutative throughout our dealings with him.

Incredible Value

If you want true modern/urban accommodations that are better AND cheaper than a nice Houston hotel, this is your place. Very convenient to anything downtown. Safe for the family. Great skyline view. Awesome kitchen. We don't really have anything negative to say about our experience. Unit owner was GREAT to work with. You will NOT be disappointed.

Absolutely loved it!!

We stayed in the condo over an extended weekend vacation and our stay in this place was excellent! The condo was spacious and well furnished with great amenities. We found the building to be conveniently located and it's accessibility was a pleasant surprise. Our stay began on a high note as soon as we pulled into the building's secure garage; from there on each feature of the building and condo added to the ease and enjoyment of the weekend. Jim was very helpful and knowledgeable about things to do in the area. He was a very hospitable host. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone seeking a spacious two bedroom condo during their stay in Houston.

Great stay experience

We stayed almost 2 weeks and had a great experience. I would definetely recommend your stay at this apartment. Jim is very friendly, communicative and accesible, which is of most essence when you're traveling to a city that isn't your hometown. Arrival and departure protocol is very smooth. You don't have to worry about your flight delay, all instructions are clear and automatic to accomplish. Location is very comfortable. I had to move a lot in Houston, mainly downtown, Galleria and Art district. The apartment is in a very short driving distance to these areas (5 to 10 minutes). Target is in a 2 minute drive. The apartment is fully equiped. You can perfectly cook and find anything you might need. It's a big apartment with great use of space and daylight. Nice distribution of both bedrooms. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom, so there is plenty of privacy if you're traveling with another couple for example. Nice balcony and pool. Pictures are absolutely accurate. It's a very new building, secure and with a great parking spot. Dishwasher, washer machine and drying machine will make your stay much easier. I would of course, come back.

Beautiful Place at a Beautiful Price

We had a wonderful week in the condo! The condo is light and airy and in the evening a beautiful view of the Houston skyline. My husband was attending a conference at the convention center and he would walk there in the morning. The kids and I attended museums. The aquarium is super close! I couldn't believe how easy it was to get to. There is a Target close by to pick up groceries. The parks surrounding it have beautiful walking paths. So much better than staying in a hotel.

This rental was very pleasing. We enjoyed the apartment and the location for traveling into Houston couldn't have been better. Just a short drive to enter an Interstate was great. The apartment was roomy, clean, and just as was advertised. We had no problem with the instructions of entering the building and the key to the apartment. The owner was helpful and very accessible by email; answering any questions in a timely manner. We enjoyed many museums; not missing very many. Even went to the hugh market and to the space museum - a large and interesting building of all kinds of history on space. Also, we found a nice movie theater close to the museum district, which provided some rest from the walking and visiting museums. We are also movie buffs. A pleasant stay, we would definitely recommend this apartment in houston.
