Rooms were spacious and clean. Location was ideal and the home was in a very walkable neighborhood; close to major stores, such as Target, Costco, and Dollar Tree.

Stay was fine but needs a refresh

Overall, the house was fine. It got the job done for 6 days. Plenty of space, stocked with all the essentials, quiet neighborhood, convenient enough to everywhere we wanted to go. But this house really needs a good deep clean & a refresh. I don’t just mean the cleaners coming in really quick between quests (as it appears that’s all that happening). The corners and crevices need attention. The entire house just had hair on it - the walls, the shower, the bed, the floors. Hair everywhere. The shower is another story in and of itself… it needs updated desperately. The communal shower liner with pink mold is nasty. The drain doesn’t drain and it’s just standing water while you’re in it. The shower head is either beating you to death or hardly spraying on you. It’s just outdated - the shower needs replaced, the bathroom needs well cleaned. The ceiling leaks and there is water damage so I’m sure mold where it couldn’t be seen. The towels and sheets all need replaced on a regular basis. They are old, grungy, stained, gross. The dishwasher is mildew ridden and wreaks.

Great stay at Seaside

We enjoyed very much our stay at Seaside, the apartment is just as described, very clean and well equipped, just a short drive into Monterey. It was 5 of us and the size was perfect.

Great Location for day trips in Monterey

Family of 4 with two teenagers stayed comfortably in this house. Beds slept great and kitchen was totally functional for breakfast and basic meal prep. Decent pots and knives. Very comfortable living room and sitting room by the fireplace was cozy and we enjoyed it after long cool days out in Big Sur and hiking at Pinnacles National park. Laundry on site allowed us to pack light. All in all a great property.

Amenities need attention!

This was a very expensive rental and for that I would expect much better attention to many details. Hand soap containers almost empty, no dish rag or sponges, only one dish towel, marginally equipped with utensils. The Keurig coffee maker did not work. Kitchen garbage pails and other containers were not lined. The king bed mattress is quite soft. The location was great and there was lovely art work on the walls.

Big House but not clean

Nice big house near Monterey but not clean.The house was sloppily cleaned. the dishwasher was the most disgusting dishwasher I have ever seen! it was never serviced or sanitized, full of black mold and slimy, really stinky. we had to buy dishwasher sanitizer to be able to to use it but it didn't help.I just hope we didn't get sick from those washed dishes! We wanted to use the grill which was also never cleaned and started a fire. We acted quickly so we could put the fire out! it was dangerous. under the bed was so dirty and dusty we had trouble sleeping as we are allergic and did not stop coughing. so it's big and has everything but they really have to deep clean it at least once!!!

Lovely home

Perfect for our family

This was the perfect spot for our family. Close to the places we needed and wanted to go, bicycling distance to everything we wanted to see. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We would book here again if we visit Monterey.

Seaside getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this property as we were visiting family living in Monterey. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed which is unusual when traveling with 4 young kids! I highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay again.

cute and tidy

We loved the cute house! The entire inside of the house was comfortable, clean and well cared for. The yard needed a lot of attention, so we stayed inside ;(. The neighborhood was a bit farther from the action of the beach and restaurants than we were hoping, but we chose it because of its reasonable price. Everything we wanted to do was within 10-15 minutes, so it worked out well.

Clean and spacious

The place was clean and I like that there was enough beds to accommodate all of my family. I traveled to the Bay Area for work and needed my mom to babysit my baby so she had her own bed and so did my brothers. There was some baby toys and a playpen (although baby ended up sleeping with us).
