The Coral Door Cottage Experience
My girlfriend and I truly had an amazing experience staying at Andrea's home away from home.
Upon arrival of the property, we were welcomed by a nice large firepit with 4 Muskoka chairs facing the great view of Wilbermere Lake.
As we entered the coral door, we were very impressed with details and creativity implemented to make the place very warm and comfortable. The pictures on the listing are exactly as is, but somehow are more impressive in person.
There were 2 bedrooms, one with a comfortable queen bed and a bunk bed in the other room. This would be great place for a family with two kids.
The living space with the beautiful blue comfy couch is a perfect place to hang out. There were numerous classic board games, a great variety of CDs available and even a little TV that can be connected to a streaming service. The kitchen had everything one would need.
The place is not the biggest, but I don't think it will have the same comfortable feel to if it was larger. It is perfect with everything one needs for spending time at the cottage.
We didn't use the bbq grill as we cooked over the fire (bring your own firewood+grill).
We did spend a majority of the time outside. The personal dock across the street had 2 foldable Muskoka chairs that were great for basking in the sun and a 15' canoe to travel the lake. The lake is great to dive and swim in. Fishing is decent, caught some small mouth bass. FYI sunrises are great from the dock.
We would definitely come back.
