Water front Getaway

This unique place has a style all its own. Located on Heyden lake known for great ice fishing. It is 10 minutes from sault ste marie & 25 minutes from searchmont ski resort. It is a short drive to most local attractions. Three bedrooms one upstairs & two downstairs
The space
You enter from the side. When you enter the house. 4 stairs lead you to the main floor & 10 stairs to the lower level.
Main Floor- open concept Kitchen & Dinning. Off the Kitchen is the living room you enter the bedroom from the living room both rooms has patio door which leads you out to the deck over looking Heyden Lake. Off the kitchen also leads you to the laundry room from the laundry room you access the washroom.
Lower level- Bedroom is to your left, straight ahead is the furnace room. To the right is the third bedroom and 2nd sitting room with a large patio door allowing you walk out access to the lake.

The entrance door is to the side of the house
Other things to note
Water used is lake intake, we do have a filtration system in the lower level.

Great location for XC skiing - halfway between Hiawatha Highlands and Stokely Creek. The host provided plenty of drinking water, k cups, tea bags, and cookies. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great house on the lake

The lake house was a great getaway for our family. It was clean, spacious and had great views of the lake. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock while we sat on the outdoor furniture and balcony. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Great spot!

Nice property on Heydon Lake. The house was fully equipped and the furnishings very nice. The kitchen is spacious with modern appliances. Bedrooms and beds were very nice and comfortable. Nice quiet lake with great bass fishing right of the dock!! Just a few minutes from Sault Ste Marie and not far from Lake Superior. Overall we had a great experience at Snazzy Getaway.

Perfect place

This was the perfect place to stay for the weekend. It is very clean and quite. The deck is the perfect place for morning coffee and meals overlooking the peaceful lake. Althea was quick to respond to inquiries. I would definitely stay here again.

Cute quiet and convenient!

We stayed here when we had to work in sault st marie for a week it was 14 minutes to downtown sault st marie but yet extremely quiet and relaxing. When we come back we will definitely be staying here again. 5/5

Heyden stay

The setting of this property was lovely. Right on the water with views from the easily accessible upper deck. The inside of the home was impeccably decorated and furnished with all of the necessities. My family and myself felt right at home. The beds were very comfortable and cozy with beautiful linens We hope to return soon

Perfect spot for a homecoming!

We chose this property because of it’s proximity to downtown Sault Ste. Marie, while at the same time being quiet and away from the bustle. I grew up in the Soo, and this trip was my first time back in over 30 years, and the first time bringing my family to Canada. It is abundantly clear that a tremendous amount of effort has already gone into making the property homey and comfortable, and there is additional progress being made. I could not have asked for a better experience, check-in was easy, communication was great, and the place is wonderful!!

A Lovely Retreat

This VRBO has been set up with care and welcomes you after your travels and adventures in the SSM area. The beds and living areas are attractive with comfortable seating, beds and excellent sheets and pillows. The kitchen is well set up with all new furniture and dishes. Waking up to the mist covered lake is beautiful. We enjoyed quiet cups of morning tea and coffee. The host is very responsive. We were able to swim from her neighbours property. We had a small dinner party with cousins we had not seen in many years. Very enjoyable getaway.

Perfect!

What a perfect house for our peaceful respite while driving the Lake Superior Circle Tour! We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed every one of them! House was clean, comfortable, cozy, had everything we needed. Early morning coffee and early evening wine on the deck was a delight! We even had a peaceful campfire one day watching water wildlife. Althea was easy to contact & always responded immediately. We couldn't have asked for a better host! (She even had marshmallows for us to roast if we had a campfire.) Loved it here, and we'd stay here again if we come back to Saulte Ste Marie..
