Cozy Cape Located In The Beautiful Seaside Town of Mahone Bay

This period, mid 1800's Half-Cape, lovingly restored, is peacefully nestled in the beautiful seaside town of Mahone Bay. Large Living Room, Den, Kitchen and Laundry, 2 Bedrooms 1.5 Baths. This is a quiet residential quarter of town, simply five minute's walk to a public wharf, English Style Pub, Community Market, the famed "Three Churches" and a charming array of shops and cafes. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place.

Space
The home has a large well appointed country kitchen, designated laundry room, spacious living room, comfortable dining room, a den off of main living area. Bathroom with tub and shower can also be found on the main level. Upstairs has two large bedrooms in the eaves and a half bath. The neutral palate of this homes interior, along with a traditional blend of comfortable furnishings and antiques, create a perfect ‘zen” for a relaxing stay with all of your needs thoughtfully met.

All our guests have access to the entire home and outdoor space

Other things to note
A micro brewery is a short distance away and for the cyclist access to the “Rails To Trails” is around the corner. Mahone Bay is ten minutes from the historic town of Lunenburg as well as 20 minutes to the lovely town of Chester.

The well stocked kitchen / dining area is awesome! Beds were comfortable. All appliances were new and well maintained. We spent our evenings in the cozy den. Walking distance to downtown and on a quiet street.Not sure about being good for small children or people that have issues climbing stairs. Otherwise we definitely recommend staying here.

2 night stay in lovely house, extremely clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated. This home felt very comfy, comfortable furniture and beds. Alot of thought and care was put into this home to make it feel special. Hosts were friendly and very responsive. Close walking distance to groceries and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Mahone Bay Cozy Cape Cottage

This was our second stay at this cottage and are planning to make this a yearly event. The cottage has everything you need, well appointed and very cozy! Location is also great.

Amazingly clean and comfortable cottage. Felt like our home away from home. Convenient location, lovely back deck area to relax on, and close enough to stroll to town.

Beyond our expectations...

What a charming, cozy, and well maintained rental...it feels like home. If you are an antique collector you will appreciate the furniture & collectibles that can be admired throughout the rental. It has everything you need and more. Pat & Pam were wonderful hosts. I would highly recommend this VRBO if you are traveling to the South Shore.

Charming shingled cottage in historic center of Mahone Bay

Just a short walk up the hill from Mahone Bay's Main Street is a leafy enclave of historic houses. This is the location of Pam and Dave's comfortable and stylish home, where French doors lead from the kitchen to a private deck enclosed by shrubs and trees. Our hosts were easy to communicate with and very helpful.

This property was exactly what we were looking for. It was cozy, spotless, and located just outside Mahone Bay Center. The owners could not have been more accommodating and friendly. I would rent this property again.

Lovely Home in the heart of Mahone Bay

We were very comfortable and very happy with the property. It's well-maintained, beautifully-decorated and you're a 5-minute walk to everything in Mahone Bay. It is an absolutely charming home and we counted ourselves lucky to experience everything it offered. We hope to be back again!

Beautiful property!!

We had an excellent stay at the cottage. It was immaculate, tastefully decorated and very clean. The hosts are excellent, they answered all of my questions. It is in a quiet location, and a short walk to the town. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Beautiful, well maintained property

The property was immaculate; very clean and beautifully decorated. On a quiet street for those who want tranquility but a short walk to all the restaurants and stores that Mahone Bay has to offer. Highly recommend this property.
