When you'd rather skip cooking, Chili Peppers Restaurant is just steps away and offers convenient dining and late-night options. You'll also be minutes from local favorites, shopping, mini golf, fishing piers, water sports, bike paths, and iconic Outer Banks attractions like Wright Brothers National Memorial and Jockey's Ridge.

The Cottonwood was a very comfortable home - it was clean and uncluttered and had everything we needed for our short stay. When it says short walk, it does not exaggerate - you can see the beach access from the house. The restaurant across the street was not an issue at all. My only suggestion is that it would be nice to have had a broom to sweep up each day.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very quaint and cozy property. When we first walked in it smelled clean and wonderful. Perfectly sized for our family with great upgraded amenities. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants, matter of fact there is a restaurant literally across the street. Even though the restaurant was close, we never had any issues with noise levels nor rowdiness from it.Only negatives we had were that the sprinklers were on around 5pm when we arrived and daily, which meant that the area was wet and we weren't able to use the wonderful hammock during that time. There also weren't really any comfortable seating on the upstairs deck. There is a huge picnic table which is too big for the area and not very comfortable to sit at while trying to enjoy the wonderful and huge deck space.
