Lovely cottage and outside space in an incredibly peaceful, beautiful and historic area. We enjoyed cycling, exploring the area and relaxing at the premises. The little local lake was a simple, well kept family space with a pleasant bar. Our batteries are fully recharged!

Séjour à la cotiniere

Séjour très agréable Très bien situé, proche Angers, Saumur et Tours. Logement très agréable avec le petit plus du bain nordique à 35 degrés environ, dont nous avons pleinement profité. Christophe est très sympa et disponible. On recommande.

Perfect spot to rest and visit

Wonderful place with a nice and discreet host. The spot is quiet, charming and relaxing especially with the Nordic bath and troglodytic rooms. Facilities and a lot of wonderful sightseeing places in less than 20 minutes. What else to expect. Thank you for the week.

Un havre de paix dans une demeure typique

Très bel endroit, qui convient parfaitement pour 2 adultes et deux enfants. Fonctionnel et charmant. Nous avons adoré le jardin très bien fleuri et entretenu avec soin et la tonnelle ombragée ainsi que la terrasse bois , avec son bain nordique : formidable pour les adultes comme pour les enfants. L'endroit est très calme, presque aucune voiture ne passe sur la petite route qui mène au gîte. Donc grand silence très reposant. La présence des chambre d'hôte ne gêne pas du tout la privacy du gîte, on se sent complètement " chez soi" . Le plus : la présence du joli plan d'eau pour la baignade, bien ombragé à 2 km du gîte. Christophe est un hôte très agréable et très accommodant à l'accueil parfait. C'est un endroit qui donne envie de revenir !

Excellent Séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent Séjour. Le site est juste magnifique et calme. Le gîte est assez spacieux et très bien aménagée. Il y a tous les équipements à disposition pour passer un bon moment. Christophe est un hôte accueillant et aux petits soins pour ses locataires. Le bain nordique est un pur plaisir. Seul point à savoir et qui sont indépendant de l'hôte. La connexion internet est très faible et vous êtes dans une zone presque blanche niveau téléphonie portable. Un excellent moyen pour déconnecter ;) mais moins facile avec un ado ;). Nous reviendrons c'est sûre.

Beautiful! Didn’t want to leave.

We loved our time at Christophe’s gite! As soon as we arrived, we realised how special it was. The gite was charming, comfortable and well-equipped. Our 7 year old loved having her own ‘floor’ with TV room (upstairs). Staying in the Summer meant that temperatures were reaching 30 degrees, but it did stay lovely and cool in the gite. We adored the gardens and spent hours there, watching the butterflies. Christophe was so welcoming and made us feel very relaxed. He shared some of the vegetables he had grown in his garden too! We didn’t explore an awful lot in the car, as were using it as a rest stop, but loved walking from the gite to the sunflower fields and vine yards, or into the forest and spotting the hares and deer. We would love to return.

Charmant séjour fleuri

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end printanier en famille (le premier du déconfinement !) à la Cotinière. Le lieu était magnifiquement fleuri. Le gîte très bien équipé (très bonne literie) et propre. Christophe est très disponible et nous a apporté de bons conseils pour découvrir les alentours. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Sehr schöne ruhige Unterkunft

Tolles Haus im Stil der Region mit einem wunderschönen Garten voller Blumen. Innerhalb des Hofs werden auch Zimmer in einem Chambre d‘hotes angeboten. Das Anwesen ist sehr ruhig und ländlich gelegen (mit dem Auto sind es aber nur 10 Minuten bis zum nächsten Ort Gennes an der Loire!) und perfekt, um nach einem erlebnisreichen Urlaubstag zu entspannen oder einen Spaziergang durch die wunderschöne Gegend zu unternehmen. Christophe, der Vermieter, ist super freundlich und hat uns nach einer Autopanne mit seiner Gastfreundschaft wirklich begeistert! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Accueil chaleureux

Gîte authentique, très cosy, complet, au calme, joliment arboré et fleuri, propriétaire très accueillant, partageant quotidiennement les fruits et légumes du jardin (les figues, un délice) Nous avons passé une sympathique semaine, nous nous sommes bien reposé et avons pu découvrir le patrimoine local, et ses douceurs. A recommander vivement.

**Since 2009, Cotinière welcomes you in a natural and warm way.**
After offering 4 guestrooms, La Cotinière offers you the opportunity to stay in the Val de Loire in one of the 3 guestrooms (nuitée +petits déjeuners) (overnight + breakfast) or in one of the 2 furnished cottage (staying on your own for more than 2 days). All labeled Fleurs de Soleil.
According to our availability the host table can be booked, picnic areas are available, as well as a living room and a kitchen.
The total capacity is 15 people and renting the whole is possible at guesthouse fares, according to availibility and time slot (please send your request using the form below).
Whatever you opt in, Christophe the owner, will be a real pleasure to welcome you and introduce you to the bounty of the surroundings : Castles of the Loire, vineyards and winemakers (label Vignobles et découvertes) , troglodytique sites, nice spots for strolls or hikes/rides (label Accueil Vélo) , typical villages of the banks of the Loire, etc…
