Beautiful property with lots of space for multi-generational family gathering. Clean, thoughtfully decorated without being over crowded, and comfortable furnishings. The screened porch overlooking the backyard and river was amazing!

Phenomenal service & a life saver!

The property was lovely and clean! Everything went smoothly with the communications and the arrival & departure. Gwendy was amazing. Even to the point where I’d left some important items behind (bag of proprietary chargers + important legal documents I didn’t know I’d even brought with me) and she went out of her way to double & triple check the property to make sure I got all of my belongings shipped back to me! Gwendy, YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER! 1000/10 would stay again at this property!

Beautiful home right on the river

We had a great time at the River Run home for our basecamp for our family reunion. We took advantage of the fire pits down by the river and had a relaxing evening. Do forget to lounge on the porch swing bed, you'll catch a great nap there. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will come back!

Lovely Mountain home

We loved everything about our stay here. The sitting areas on the porch were especially nice. Owner communicated well with us, and the home was nicely decorated and furnished. We will be back.

Idyllic Riverside Retreat

Wonderful home with natural beauty and a great view of the Hiawassee river down hill. The house boasts 5 bedrooms with comfortable beds and lots of entertainment options including pool table, ping pong and cornhole. All the guests in my party thoroughly enjoyed the stay

Beautiful home and view of the river

Home is in a beautiful part of Hayesville NC - the river view was fabulous, and we fished the river each day there. Home is fully equipped and plenty of space. Very clean property and host is easy to communicate with. We all enjoyed our time there.

Incredible Family Vacation!

11 family members plus two who came to visit and PLENTY of room! Super clean! Loved taking our chairs and sitting in the river while the rest of the family tubed to our location from the bridge. Lots of fun! Well equipped kitchen with top notch appliances and gas stove. Beautiful and peaceful…one morning we saw a fawn run through the yard. Great setting for family pictures. Perfect home!

Girls Trip to The River!

The house is stunning! 10 of us stayed at this beautifully decorated home. It had everything we needed from comfortable beds, kitchen supplies, and games to the quiet sounds of the river and nature at its best. Conveniently located to shopping in Hayesville and fishing at the lakes. I would highly recommend staying here and plan on returning with my extended family in the future.

What a perfect place to relax… 😌Everything was well thought of. When I needed something it was right there. We all had such a good time visiting. It had two kitchens, three dining areas, and numerous places to congregate. The soothing sounds from the river made you want to just lay back and soak up the peacefulness. We all had a places to rest, play, and have fun. We really appreciated the careful attention and cleanliness of the home. You could tell it was well loved. 🥰

River Run Bliss

My husband and I had the best time at this beautiful home in Hayesville, NC. It's convenient to some amazing eateries and beautiful trails and waterfalls. The home itself was immaculate and the decorating was so eclectic and thoughtful. Every room had special touches that truly made this place a gem. Everything was well stocked and we had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were extremely helpful with recommendations and things to do during our stay. We would highly recommend this property and we will definitely book again.

Family Fun on the River

The house was larger than expected, well stocked, and very clean(including outdoor spaces). We had a party of 12 people and it never once felt crowded. There is plenty of space to spread out with lots of activities. The kids enjoyed ping pong downstairs while the guys enjoyed playing pool upstairs. The women mostly hung out on the beautiful wrap around deck to chat. The kids made s’mores at the fire pit in the yard. Every morning the adults enjoyed coffee on the deck listening to the river. The river is a bit of a hike to get to but totally worth it and the walk got easier for us each day. Just bring a soft cooler, chairs, and water shoes or whatever you need to hang for a while. There is a path to the right of the house that made the walk easier for my older parents. You can also take in views from the top of the stairs without going all the way down. The river was magical! We saw otters, geese, and deer. It’s pretty shallow so we were able to put our camping chairs in the water and sit. We even walked around in the water looking for pretty rocks. The house is close to Murphy which has a lot of restaurants and shops so it’s a great location. Lake Chatuge and Fires Creek were super fun places to visit too. The owners are very sweet and helpful. You can feel the love in this home. It’s like going to grandma’s house. It has such a warm cozy vibe and we could tell this is a special place for the owners as well. My family said this was the best house we’ve ever rented (and we’ve rented multiple beautiful homes on the river). We made such special memories. We would stay here again! :)

Amazing Stay for a Men's Trip! Perfect Fly-Fishing Destination!

We stayed at River Run with about 10 guys for a weekend of watching NCAA March Madness and fly fishing. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything in the house and on the property was very organized and clean. I mean clean to the point of everyone saying "Wow, this place is so nice". We accidentally unplugged the internet and the owner of the property immediately sent someone over to fix it for us! The river is literally a 2 minute walk down some steps and you have a perfect wide spot of river to fish.Awesome property, A Customer Service and A LocationHIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Beauty By the River

We had a wonderful time staying in this lovely home on the river! The house has everything you could ever think of and every room is beautifully decorated with comfort in mind. The wrap around screened in porch is fabulous! It has several different sitting/eating areas...perfect for the mountain rains! There are two different fire pit areas...one down by the river! Great hiking trails! Great restaurants nearby! Beautiful view of the river and mountains! Very private!This is a great home for large families...two kitchens, two living areas, lots of outdoor spaces, lots of beds!I felt like I was at a five star summer camp as an adult

Perfect Large Family Get Together

Our large family had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas at this lovely home. This is a modern clean home with lots of conveniences and entertaining options. The kitchen was well equipped with more than we needed and we also used the grill. Is nicer in person than the pictures show. The setting on the river is beautiful. The nights were chilly so we enjoyed both fire pits. The pool table room was a big hit. Gwendy the host was kind and quickly responded to some questions I had prior and while at the property. We all agreed that we would love to come back.

Perfect, lovely and clean

We stayed here for some girl time with 8 of us. We loved it! The house is lovely. The layout was great and had everything you would need. The bedrooms were all very nice. Mattresses, bedding and pillows were wonderful. The entire house AND the screened in porches were immaculate. I’ve never stayed anywhere that was this clean. We were all very impressed. The owners responded right away with any questions. We enjoyed the river and the trail along the river. We all want to come back and make this an annual trip.

Christmas in April

This was our "Christmas Memory Trip" to our kids and grandkids. Our family included 11 adults, 4 children and an infant. The home was fantastic, had everything that we needed, with lots of space for everyone. The house, the location and Hayesville were all beautiful!!A lot of time was spent on the screened porches, (loved the screened porches). The kids (big and little) had a great time with ping pong and pool tournaments, making smores and going down to the river. Our granddaughters enjoyed time down by the river painting rocks. I know a few were left to find. Thank you!!

We had some fierce weather and the river actually flooded past our fire pits! But, your beautifully painted rocks were still there! We love them. I have plans to let folks start painting rocks and we will make them into the shape of a snake in the forest :) And the beautiful painted rock on the piece just inside our front door is wonderful. Annual Labor Day Family Gathering

River Run was perfect for our large family. We thoroughly enjoyed the large gathering spaces on the porch for games, relaxation and great conversation. We loved floating the river on tubes —perfect weather. The pool table, ping pong table, and corn hole are always a big hit with our family. Having TVs available in all the gathering spaces, even the porch, was fabulous as we always gather to watch college football -Roll Tide & Go Vols!! The kitchen was big enough for meals & we had dinner out one night at Black Dog in downtown Hayesville which accommodated our group of 11 that night. We will definitely be back at this home in the future!!!

PERFECT "10"

This was our first time to the area and this house was so convenient to everything we wanted to do! Awesome hiking right out the back door, amazing views of the river and the firepits provided entertainment after dark! The house itself accomodated our group of ten with super comfortable beds and plenty of living space for dining and/or just hanging out. The huge wrap around porch was our favorite spot anytime of day and was so peaceful listening to the sounds of nature and the river! The home is well stocked with everything we could possibly want, all we did was bring food and drinks. The decor is stunning. We will be back!

What a beautiful place!

What a beautiful place! Decor was amazing, TV's everywhere (even on the porch), pool table, and large kitchen with everything you need to cook with. Comfortable beds. Bedrooms spaced for privacy, great place for a large families or small group gatherings, such as a women's retreat, etc. Wonderful location to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Nice walking trail and outdoor fire pit by the river and on the upper level closer to the house. Very peaceful. Nice and spacious. Great screened in porch for morning coffee and reading a book in the evenings. I just can't say enough about this place! We will back with family and friends!

Gorgeous Riverside Retreat

Just WOW!! Stayed here with a group of women and could NOT have loved it more. Easy to find, newly renovated with luxurious baths, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen and THE most awesome porch where we spent hours talking, sipping wine and all to the serenade of the beautiful Hiawasee River. We grilled out, played ping pong, pool, and at night built a bonfire and sat out under the stars! The house is spacious, cabin chic and spotless. During the day we hiked by the river and drove to the nearby attractions like Lake Chatuge, local shopping, breweries and farm to table restaurants. Could not have been better!! Will definitely go back!

River Run Home

Very nice clean home. Everything you would want for relaxing. Very spacious with plenty of space for a large group. Two outside fire pits stocked with wood to enjoy sitting around fire. One on upper back yard and one on the bottom back property next to the beautiful sounding river. Home has everything you need for the stay. Owner Gwendy was always checking in to see if everything was going well. We had 10 people there for motorcycle riding for 6 days. We will definitely be comimg back.Thank you Gwendy for allowing us to share your paradise.

Peaceful and Perfect!

We took 14 people (3 families) to the mountains for a week long retreat from our church. We couldn’t have picked a better place! The home was amazing and the river was a great place to spend time and enjoy the water. The outdoor fire pits created fun memories, and the bed swing on the screened in porch was one of the most relaxing and peaceful places to sit in the morning with a cup of coffee as you listen to the flowing water from the river reading God’s word. The house provides plenty of space and privacy. Everything was top notch! We can’t express enough what a blessing this was for our small church group. Thank you for providing such a beautiful home to us it was everything we needed❣️
