Play & Stay, Bergrand

Your family’s ski-in/ski-out getaway awaits! Ideally located in Schuss Village right off the slopes, this longtime guest favorite offers unbeatable access to Schuss Mountain—just steps from the blue and yellow chairlifts.

Recently remodeled and thoughtfully decorated in a cozy ski-and-golf theme, the condo features a full kitchen, perfect for family meals after a day of adventures. The main floor includes a queen bedroom with private bath and washer/dryer, while the second floor offers two queen beds and another private bath—great for families or friends traveling together.

Guests love the perfect location, clean and well-equipped space, and how easy it is to ski in and ski out. Many families say it’s ideal for kids to rest or nap between runs, while parents can enjoy quick access to the slopes and nearby Ivan’s restaurant.

Beyond skiing, explore five championship Shanty Creek golf courses, nearby Torch Lake, and the charming towns of Bellaire and Mancelona—filled with restaurants, wineries, and shops just 10–15 minutes away.

Come make lasting family memories at Play and Stay Bergrand—where comfort, convenience, and Northern Michigan adventures meet.

All guests must be 25 or older, unless families with small children. A refundable $500 security deposit is required and will be refunded after departure, if there are no issues.

Perfect location, perfect base camp!

We had an amazing time. This condo is perfectly located to enjoy a few days skiing without the stress of driving in, getting everyone on the same schedule, etc. Tressia was amazingly supportive and check in/out was so easy. Truly a gem! Thank you!

The property was actually disgusting. I wrote the below email, and below that I have posted the response we got in return. No action, no remedy, didn't even offer to change the air filter. Hey Tressia, Hope all is well. We will most likely be checking out this evening or in the morning depending on if I find an alternative place or just drive back home. There a few issues, but I was going to just deal with them. The place has a distinct odor of vomit. The blinds are greasy. There’s a white film and smear marks on shower, hot water comes and goes at will, doors are rusting and deteriorated. The mattress on the main floor is well beyond its years, very uncomfortable. The bathroom fan doesn’t work and instead makes a loud siren like noise. The armchair in the family room has a greasy layer of residue on it. Most of the glassware was not clean, not washed properly. We washed everything again upon checking in as well as cleaned oily / sticky doorknobs and remotes with Clorox wipes. The ac unit in the family room definitely needs a filter change or unit change, the air it blows out smells disgusting. Nonetheless, I wasn’t going to say anything as you were nice enough to discount the room when asked. Response: Oh noOwner was guest before you and there for 6 weeks. My sincere apologies about blinds not being clean and rust of front door. Let me know when you depart. Thanks! If you don't mind a stench of vomit, or greasy furniture, oily blinds, bad service, bingo!

Place was very clean and great to stay in however there were pictures of pools and resorts that were not included in the stay and that is the reason we booked was for them. Other than that it was great, just make sure you double check pictures and ask any questions.
