Beach or Pool person? At Poolside Villa 202, you can be both! This beachfront property features pool views, gulf views, and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the Emerald Coast fully. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom is your new getaway destination!
 
Upon entering the beautifully decorated condo, you are instantly greeted with the cozy atmosphere the condo provides.
 
The fully-stocked kitchen with up-to-date appliances will be the center of all your cooking during your stay. The kitchen is equipped with a blender, coffee maker, and a toaster as bonus amenities. 

Eat at the dining table, which seats 4, or at the breakfast bar, which chairs 2.

After a long day in the sun, the spacious living area will highlight your night. With a flat-screen Roku tv, you won’t have to miss a night of binge-watching. The comfortable couch can extend into a Queen Sofa Sleeper for extra bedding.

Right off the living area is the gem of the condo. The balcony is equipped with comfortable seating so everyone can enjoy the luxury views of the fabulous pool and the gorgeous Emerald Coast.

The master bedroom has balcony access and features a spacious King bed with a private master bath. 

The second bedroom offers a comfy Queen bed, and the 2nd bathroom is also a full bathroom.

Poolside Villas is gulf front with beach access right off the pool area. We suggest a short stroll to the West to Norriego Point to set up for the day. You'll be gulf front with Jetty East and Harbor views as well! The pool features a spacious deck for space and a grill area for BBQ.

Snorkle beach and Boogie boarding

Property is a good location on the beach. It is a walk but great beaches. Awesome neighborhood. Gated, this area feels very safe. My family stays here frequently in the area. Condos are older but great price, size and location. POOL is a plus. Great BBQ areas. Great mgmt. communication.

June 2023 Stay

This was our first time stay at this condo and we had an amazing trip. We love snorkeling the jetties and fishing. We spent some time at crab island and enjoyed the emerald green crystal clear waters. The condo was cozy and comfortable, a bit on the smaller side but can’t beat its location. We love that the villas were gated and felt really secure. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience and we’ll definitely be back!

Spring Break

We have stayed at this facility before just a new unit this year. Our first day walking into the unit it smelled of strong fish for the first 2 days. The floors were dirty and scratched from animals. The master bedroom balcony door was missing handle from the balcony side and no screen on the door. The beds were comfortable and great access to pool/ beach.

Horrible vacation

When we arrived we were greeted with a strong musty oder that lasted the entire stay.(7 days) The washer and dryer are loud. Very loud. There was no internet and cable TV. The internet issue was resolved after 3 days. The cable said no subscription the entire time. I was counting on using the pull out sofa-bed for one of my guests. It was absolutely disgusting with the stains and overall condition of the mattress. The bed in the master bedroom shakes at the slightest movement. The beach is very nice. The Trek to the beach is just that. A Trek. After 3 days of trying to get in touch with the property managers and leaving messages. I gave up. I will never use VRBO or any booking sight promoting Destin property managers again.

Poolside Villa 202

Overall this condo is up to date on style. But lacks maintenance. During our stay the sink was clogged and backed up into the dishwasher, then drained out into the floor ( dishwasher was not used any during our stay). Master bath shower drain was also clogged causing the water to slowly drain out. Dryer took 3+ cycles to get dry. One of the pool lights was hanging out and placed on the concrete outside of the pool, this could raise some safety concerns. Could use a new broom to keep the condo clean, the one that was there was broken and kid size. I contacted maintenance twice, was told the first time they would come out, they did not, the second time we was told someone would call first thing the next morning, that never happened either. All of these issues could be resolved, making this a overall good place to stay for future guest. If you are looking for a condo with a close walk to the beach, this is not the one for you.

Overall it was great

Just a few cosmetic things. The handle to the sliding door to master bedroom was non existant. The light in the patio didn’t work. We had to get WD40 because the sliding door to the patio was extremely hard to open and close. No coffee filters. But overall it was good

Ocean Front!

I didn’t know I had to walk a football field to get to the beach just to have someone tell me I wasn’t allowed to set up on that part of the beach as it was for another hotel where guests were dropped off every half hour by boat. That’s just insane to tell me I have a beach front property. And then the last 2 days of our stay we couldn’t swim in the pool as someone has Pooped in it. Just over all disappointing

Destin disaster

Neighbors upstairs were noisy. Beach access was non-existent as it is a private beach not for this property. Couch was stained and sofa bed unusable. Fan blades haven't been cleaned in a decade. Shower was a joke....so small. Very small place for the price and VRBO description was deceptive.

Our stay was great! We do have a couple of suggestions. We found the broom on the last day of our stay. the couch was broke in two places and was very uncomfortable for our children to sleep on. The microwave turntable was broke and the microwave was VERY loud. Lastly the dryer takes way to long to dry everything! We've had to dry everything twice as long as what the timing recommends.

First time in Destin

Good for the most part. We assumed the second bathroom would have a toilet. Only had a shower and sink. We didn’t have guests but this would have been very inconvenient. The kitchen was well stocked but the quality of some of the utensils specifically the can opener was useless. I tried to keep everything clean but no supplies were provided so that may to your advantage so guests don’t have added expense. A “swiffer” would be better than a broom. The condo could be upgraded due to marks on the wall and many scratches on the floor. This was our first time renting a condo so this was a positive experience. Very small(to small for 6), property is located in a great location but lacks upkeep.

Dryer didn't work, not clean, very crowded living area, property need an upgrade badly, alot of noise from upstairs and pool area alll hours of the night. Ended up leaving early. Property manager was very helpful to get a property that was not so poorly kept and without so many issues.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the stay was great. There were few issues with the condo. The coffee maker was broken. The dishwasher top rack almost fell off when it was pulled out. The dryer didn’t dry. The blinds in the master were broken and the tub in the master didn’t drain. The condo was clean and the pool was nice.

Very clean and nice condo

We loved the condo itself! Great neighbors and safe environment! The only problem we had was the walk to the beach. We didn’t realize the beach directly in front of the condo we were staying in was not actually a beach we were allowed to be on. With an infant the walk was too long and I wish I would have known that before hand.

Paradise

We love the Poolside Villas!! We discovered this hidden gem a couple of years ago, we won't stay anywhere else!! Every morning we see dolphins, sting rays, sea turtles & perfect spot for watching the boats leave the harbor!! Unit 202 was stocked with plenty of dishes making cooking easy! The balcony sits so you have a view of the water! The owner was quick with responding on questions we had and that was helpful! Stay here! You won't be disappointed! Love The Tafts Happy beach bums!!!

Comfortable and clean

The condo was nicely updated and clean. The pool was nice and had access to the beach. It was a bit of a walk to get to the waves but if your looking for calm water this was perfect.

Beautiful beach trip

This condo was a great place for my family of 5. It has great views and a relaxing atmosphere. The access to the beach is a little rough but worth it. I agree with previous review, the floors need to be cleaned by housekeeping. Floors made your feet black.
