Great stay at this location, incredibly close to everything and very homey. Beautiful view and the place had everything we needed. Would absolutely recommend this place!

Great Place to stay

This place has a great view. There are some stairs to get to it so if you have heavy luggage you will need to carry it up. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are clean and modern. The balcony is fantastic to enjoy the view of the city.

Amazing views!

This is a beautiful property! All windows looking at the town, harbor and casino building. Close to everything. Very accommodating. One bedroom has a queen and a twin with an ensuite bathroom; the other bedroom has a king with a bathroom right outside. Loads of kitchen things: dishes, pots and pans, etc. There were spices, S&P, and coffee filters. Property manager told us these things weren't there but they were. The only downside (if you can call it that) is that there are very steep stairs from the street up to the property. And hauling suitcases up was pretty difficult. But outside of that we loved it. The deck is also so so nice!

Making memories

This rental was amazing. great view and walking distance to the beach. great cardio exercise walking up the couple flights of stairs after a long day of eating and drinking 😉. Would definitely recommend staying here

Great view and location!

Great house with a stunning view of Avalon bay and a 5 minute walk to town. A friend of mine and I took her teenagers (there were 3) and they could just walk to the beach, town, etc. which was great. Although we had June gloom, the view from the house and the deck made hanging out there very enjoyable. I also liked that the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house and is divided by the kitchen so lots of privacy and very quiet.

Amazing stay!

This home is beautiful and was perfect for our group of 5. It's in a great location, beautiful views, and was a comfortable space for this size of a group. The property management was great and helpful. Highly recommend!

Beautiful

Not only were the hosts overly accommodating to us but the property was wonderful. View is amazing. House had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen with all dishes and items we wanted. Will be back and would stay here again. Highly recommend!

Great Stay

We had a great stay. The unit was clean, well stocked, in a great location and had a great view. The only problems were over-sensitive smoke detectors (went off multiple times when doing normal cooking and there was no visible smoke), and very poor wifi. I would recommend this unit having its own router and not just an extender. Even when close to the extender the wifi was poor, and it did not reach at all to one of the bedrooms. This would have been fine, but cell service in the unit was spotty. Other than these issues, however, it was great. Thanks!

October stay

Very nice stay. Beautiful view of Avalon and the bay. Be aware that the stairway up to the property has many steps. (get your cardio in) :-) A couple of things. The TV in the master bedroom didn't work and the exhaust fan above the stove didn't work. The rest of the property was clean and well appointed. We would definitely stay again.

beautiful location

Had a terrific long weekend in Catalina. This property is well located, just a couple of blocks to downtown Catalina. And the view from the large deck is panoramic and wonderful. The property also has a separate deck with a gas barbeque and dining table (and the same great view) which we used several times. While it is mentioned in the listing it should be emphasized that it is a significant walk up many stairs. The elderly or those who have difficulty climbing stairs should beware. This is especially true when bringing in your luggage. A few quibbles which I would not usually mention except that the property rents for a premium price: There were no beach towels and my email to management asking for some was not returned. And some of the kitchenware was dirty, including the coffee maker. Also, the property does not come with a golf cart so you'll either need to walk, which we did, or rent one. The wifi was a little slow but otherwise fine. We never used the TV so can't say whether it worked well or not. On the plus side, the management let us know the property was ready early and that we were welcome to an early check-in which was a nice surprise.

180 degree view of Avalon and harbor. 4th Avalon vacation rental. Plan to return to this one only.

Practically perfect except for cleanliness. Kitchen island dirty with crumbs, cleaning rag left behind by crew. Hair ball in toilet (HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN???) Hair in shower drain. Reported to management company. Very apologetic, and assured that it would never happen again, which I believe. We plan to rent this unit again if and when we return.

Awesome view and location!!

What an awesome view!! When we were at the house we sat outside on the porch admiring the view. The location was perfect. Off the main strip but can walk there is 5 mins. Also Vons grocery store was just a 10 min walk. The layout of the house was perfect for two couples. The only reason it is 4 stars and not 5 is that the hot water in the bedroom with two beds was only hot for the first 5 mins. Also the fan over the stove (part of microwave) was so weak the carbon monoxide alarm kept on going off each time we cooked even with all the windows open. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we come back to the island.

Infested with moths

We enjoyed the location. However, we had to wash our linens before we could use the beds and the towels and pull mattress onto the floor to sleep because of the infestation of moths and larvae. The kitchen utensils,cookware and dishes had to thoroughly washed before we could even use. Upon calling management for issues with TV they just sent housecleaning over to vacuum up the larvae as well as live moths. I can handle moths, but it was a total infestation which caused them to be every where and in everything. This was a splurge vacation rental for me and my girlfriends and quite frankly I was embarrassed for I was the one who picked this location. The location of the property like I said was wonderful, but I would have a difficult time referring this property to any of my friends or family.
