Ardmoir Cottage - Stunning cottage with surround views of the Southern Highlands

Built in 2019, Ardmoir Farm House offers 360 degree views from one of the highest points in the Southern Highlands.
With views that stretch to the Blue Mountains overlooking rolling green hills and National Parks yet only 5 minutes from Mittagong, 6 minutes from Bendooley Estate & Centennial Winery and 10 minutes from Berrima and Bowral. You will have easy access to the best the Southern Highlands has to offer from a house that provides every modern comfort in a rural setting.
The space
Ardmoir Farm House is situated on a 120-acre working property, with spectacular 360 degree views. Being designed with passive cooling and heating in mind, the farm house is warm and cosy during winter and cool in summer

The house includes 3 spacious bedrooms with double/single beds including a master room with a separate ensuite. Each room is equipped with a ceiling fan and split Daikin Air-Conditioning runs throughout the house. The building is designed for comfort no matter what time of year with excellent insulation throughout. Starlink internet offers lightning fast connectivity. The patio surrounds an open fire-pit where you can gather with friends or family for a glass of wine under the stars.

Excellent hosts - friendly, attentive, great communication and very generous with goodies gesture. The house is spotlessly cleaned, homely and cosy, well presented and well located close to attractions in Bowral, Berrima and Mittagong. The fire pit is the highlight for our family. This is the place where one can sit in silence and tune out from life’s business and tune in with serenity and companies you share the “getaway” with. Love our stay and once again, thank you to Kate and Eugene for having us. Highly recommend!

The best country escape for a family weekend away

The property is just what you need to get out of the hustle and bustle of the busy city! It’s close to all the wineries which we enjoyed on both the Saturday and Sunday! Perfect property to also just unwind. Couldn’t recommend more

Peaceful, Picturesque, and Memorable

I had an unforgettable stay at this incredible house during my wedding weekend with two other couples. The atmosphere was wonderfully peaceful, and the fire pit at night added a magical touch to our evenings. The property itself was stunning—perfect for capturing beautiful pre-wedding photos. Kate, the host, was absolutely amazing - kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway!

Perfect family getaway

Kate was an excellent host and the cottage was bright, clean and beautiful. The kids adored running around in all the open space and picking fruit off the trees. We stayed for two nights and brought all our own groceries, and the only suggestion we can think of is maybe having an extra pan or so for cook ups. Thank you Kate for providing a fabulous stay

Cosy highlands cottage with panoramic views

We found the entire experience seamless from start to finish. The owners were very helpful and attentive. The cottage was beautiful and warm and comfortable. Close to town but distant enough to feel secluded. The vista was exceptional. We would have no hesitation staying again!

Weekend Getaway

We are 3 couples who stayed at this country setting in the Southern Highlands. The house was perfectly set up with everything you would need to eat in, relax, bbq, sleep well and enjoy the outdoor fire pit and spacious green lawns. The property was close to the wine trail and towns of Berrima, Mittagong and Bowral. We loved our stay with many thanks to our gracious hosts, Kate and Eugene.

Luxury dog friendly country escape

Very well appointed a comfortable. Dog friendly, upmarket and very clean.We loved the view over the countryside from sitting by the outdoor fire pit. Everything provided was top quality and plentiful. We didn’t run out of coffee pods, dishwasher detergent, fire wood or shower gel/shampoo.Our small kids loved the outdoor space, as did our dog.The owners/hosts are very friendly and responsive to any requested or assistance needed. Location is a short drive from the shops, cafes and wineries but far enough out that it’s quiet with great views and stars.We look forward to going back.

An Amazing Getaway!

We had a fantastic getaway over New Years. The photos don't do the place justice - it was such a cute and comfortable cottage in a beautiful and serene environment. The hosts, Kate and Eugene, were extremely accommodating (especially as we had some last-minute changes). They answered our questions very promptly, prepared a little welcome goodies basket for us, and even gave us tips throughout our stay for things to do on their property (like sunset walks and fruit picking!) Location was a really great base to easily travel around the highlands, but it still felt like you were in your own little paradise. We will definitely visit again :)

The only choice for a Highlands Stay

WOW! What a location, cottage and wonderful hosts. The location is on point surrounded by breath taking 360-degree views, an abundance of trees, plants, wildlife and dulcet moo’s from the resident cows add to elevate the experience. The cottage is contemporary, cosy and very comfortable with loads of windows that frame the views and natural light. There are a lot of really nice touches and finishes throughout the home, like the heated bathroom floors, auto sensing hall lights, the combustion heater just to mention a few and the list goes on. From the outset Kate was very responsive, and her communication was fantastic. A few days out she messaged the directions and photo of the drive entrance which made it very easy to find. Kate would always check in the morning to see if we needed anything like firewood. She also sent a list of recommended cafes and restaurants to visit and they didn’t disappoint. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely welcoming gift from our hosts of locally sourced bottled wine, delicious sourdough grain loaf, raspberry jam, milk and eggs in the fridge. Little touches which enhanced our experience even more and shows Kate’s passion for making your stay a memorable one. Kate and Eugene are absolutely wonderful and were very accommodating with our requests and they made everything seamless, delightful and definitely memorable! Thank you. Peter, Kylie and Sushi
