Very spacious fully renovated 3500 SF home surrended by trees on a 5 acres land. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. This stay is perfect for any season and large families and groups looking to relax and enjoy their time together! Newly added backyard deck. Our home located near Hollidge Tract Accessible Trail, Eldred King Woodlands trail, 10 minutes to city and 20-minute drive to Jackson point, 15 min drive to Madison greenhouse event venue, and 30-minute drive from Lakeridge ski resort and Dagmar ski resort. Very disappointing for a 5,100, 7-night stay. For a 5-bedroom house, we expected basic supplies like paper towels, Kleenex, shampoo, soap, and other household essentials. We also had to clean almost everything before we could use it. At this price point, we expected the property to be much better stocked, clean and prepared for guests. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The dryer broke and got fixed immediately.

We had soap available in each washroom, along with toilet paper and paper towels/garbage bags in the kitchen. The property was also thoroughly cleaned by professional cleaners before your arrival, and we shared pictures with you as well.

Beautiful, private and clean property with lots of space and beds for everyone. We really enjoyed our time and it was amazing to have staycation so close to the GTA yet feel like we were far from home. Will be recommending to others and definitely visit again!

Great stay

Highly recommend the home! Check-in was very easy and the place was clean and spacious. The fire pit and table tennis were nice additions. Rajini was very responsive and made sure we were settled in.

VRBO website pictures misrepresented the property. The basement had flooded before and did it again well we were there. Musty and mold smell in the basement. Two of the beds were saturated in what looked like urine. I reported multiple issues to VRBO and they nevefr followed back up with us to check into our health and welling being. The AC was an issue. The basement where two of the beds were the temp was 61 degrees, the main floor was okay but a little cool and two of four bedrooms upstairs were hot which made it difficult to sleep. The owner solution was to reset the thermostat and replace the filter which was disgusting. We move out early. I talked to multiple people at Vrbo and no offered a reasonable solution. I even ask if they another place to stay and they.] could not. Throughout the process it felt like Vrbo was taking the side of owner and constantly putting me in the middle to try solve the issue.

This guest and the entire group were very difficult to host. During the stay, they raised multiple concerns about the property and requested compensation. Several of the concerns could not be substantiated based on our observations and available records. Despite describing these concerns as serious, the guest and the entire group remained at the property for the entire booked stay. We received a call from the guest only one day before their scheduled departure. Both we and Vrbo made efforts to address the situation and discussed the option of leaving the property, but the guest chose to remain while continuing to request compensation. There were complaints regarding the AC. We responded to the concerns, reset the thermostat, and replaced the air filter as requested. Our thermostat records also show that the AC was operating normally during the stay. The guest also reported moisture and mold concerns. We found no evidence of mold or ongoing moisture as described. We arranged for a contractor to investigate the reported water issue, but the guest did not allow the contractor to proceed with opening a small section of drywall for further investigation. The property had been professionally cleaned before arrival, and we provided photographs documenting its condition. After the stay, several bed linens and mattresses were found heavily soiled and could not reasonably be reused, resulting in additional cleaning and replacement costs. We made reasonable efforts to address the guest’s multiple concerns throughout the stay. However, the repeated allegations and compensation requests made the hosting experience very difficult and disruptive. Based on our experience, we would not host this guest or the entire group again.

Great space for a family reunion!

The property was exactly what we needed for a week long family reunion. We had an abundance of space both inside and outside. Our toddlers loved the horses next door. Would definitely recommend to any family looking to spend some quality time togther.

Working Weekend

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful house during our event planning meeting last weekend. The home was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a productive and enjoyable visit. Beautiful home

We had a bbq dinner and drinks for my birthday with a few friends and the place is beautiful. Very nicely renovated, spacious and has what you need. The host is very attentive and kind, gives you everything you need to know up front and responds quickly. Thank you!!

Nice place

Nice place that is 1.5 hours away from Toronto. Beds were comfortable. They had lost of nice appliances. Only downside is it needed to deeper cleaning before we arrived. Lots of dust/crumbs on the floor that made taking off shoes uncomfortable. Walls could use cleaning too. Perhaps I was there right after someone but the house could use a deep cleaning.

I booked this place to prepare for my incoming wedding and have a place for some of my wedding guests! He was super helpful and accommodating when we had any issues. He was very understanding about everything when we needed something and I would rebook here for any reunion to get everything together. It may be far from most tourist thing but for your essential, 15+ mins. Perfect place for an isolated relaxing location! Thank you again!!!

Great stay!

The inside of the home has been completely remodeled. The interior was clean and comfortable. I would recommend that the landlord child proof the home. 2 challenges we had: 1. The gas cooktop is easily accessible. We caught our 18 month old starting it twice which made it difficult to relax as we constantly had to watch him. Additionally, if you have young children, I would recommend bringing 2 stair gates (one for the basement and one for the top of the main staircase) to minimize any chance of an incident. Outside of those challenges, the home was fantastic!
