Great Getaway

This house was perfect for our stay. We had plenty of room and the kitchen had a great assortment of baking dishes, utensils, etc. Michelle met us and showed us around upon arrival. We loved the hot tub and theater room! We enjoyed our stay! Would stay again!

Great Weekend

The space is really great, lots of room for everyone. Movie room the kids loved. Coffee bar and other available items made it so easy.

Absolutely Phenomenal

This is hands down the best place we have ever stayed in the territories. The location is great, feels secluded and with a stunning view of the lake, but very close to the Marina, Owner's Club and town. House was very well appointed: chargers everywhere, extra toiletries, tons of towels, kitchen with everything you'd need. Owner was incredibly friendly and responsive. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning.

Peace and plenty

Definition: "Peace and plenty" refers to a state of tranquility and abundance. It signifies a time or place where there's a lack of conflict and where individuals have sufficient resources and necessities to meet their needs.There you have it!Additionally, the large recreation center and swimming pool were a big hit with our family. We loved the game room and the nice gym.On a scale of 1 - 10, we rate this home an 11. :-)

Family Trip

We had a wonderful time in Galena. House is fabulous for big family with kids of all ages. Well appointed with everything from spices to popcorn, laundry soup to lotions and shampoo. Coffee to coffee cake at breakfast bar. We would certainly go again. Tnx Michelle!

Xmas Gathering

The family had a great time at the Xmas house. There was 14 of us and something for everyone to due. we saw a flock of 20 turkeys & 3 deer on the property. The lake view was beautiful as well the decorations for Xmas. The older kids went to the club house to play basketball. We all had a great time.

Definition: "Peace and plenty" is a phrase that describes a state of both tranquility and abundance. It suggests a condition where people are free from conflict and their basic needs are met, leading to a sense of overall well-being and fulfillment. And there you have it!Our hostess was very helpful with recommendations for what to do in the Galena area, and for how to enjoy the expansive recreation center and swimming pool. It was precisely what our large group needed, to help keep the kids active and engaged while the grandparents rested.The home theater room was a blast, the bedrooms were huge, and everything was so idyllic. On a scale of 1 - 10, we give this home an 11. :-)

Best of the Best

Pictures do not do this property justice. Terrific hospitality and amenities. You would not even need to leave the house because there is so much to do and it is relaxing but you will want to because there is much to do outside as well. Boating, swimming, spa, golfing nearby and access because of property ownership. Living space, outside space and bedrooms have a 5 Star approach. This home is a must!!

Wonderful, huge house for a weekend getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this house!! The home is massive, and there was so much space for our group of 15 (8 adults + 7 babies/kids). The rooms are spacious and clean, and we loved all the extra spaces on the lower level for kids to play (and sleep). For those traveling with little ones, there are at least 3 extra rooms where babies/toddlers can sleep by themselves in a pack n play (playroom, VR room, pool table room!) This made the stay great because everyone got a good night’s sleep. Michelle was so nice and helpful - she met us to show us around the house, and she left us a great spread of breakfast and coffee for the whole weekend. One of our friends accidentally left her Roku at the house, and Michelle was very accommodating to grab it and mail it back to her. The view of Lake Galena from the back of the house is really beautiful. The only downside is that the backyard is very sloped so we didn’t spend much time back there. We’d definitely come back to this house!

Best house in Galena Territories

Beautiful house with a lake view and large enough for 15 people to spread out, and also plenty of "great room" space to gather for meals, game playing, etc. The Owner provided great communication before, during and after our stay. Every amenity was provided at the house, including welcome treats! We have stayed at many houses in Galena over the years, and we finally found "the" house.

Beautiful home with lots of room for the whole family

Michelle met us for a walk through and answered any questions we had. Home is beautiful, one of a kind, and spacious with lots of amenities. Rooms are very clean, and comfy with plenty of bathrooms and supplies. Entire family enjoyed the stay. Kids loved the game room and the hot tub downstairs, leaving the adults to quiet time and catching up upstairs. Fireplace made for a cozy atmosphere. Definitely planning for a return stay! Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Great place for relaxing and unwinding!

We had 4 adult couples. The house was very roomy and comfortable. Great place to gather with friends or family . This home has a perfect layout especially the private bed and bathrooms. Can’t say enough about this home. Looking forward to a return visit.

Wonderful Girls Getaway

This rental did not disappoint. I splurged and rented it for my 40th birthday so that 8 of my close gal friends and I could enjoy it for a long weekend. Most of of us are moms and getting a chance to get away to relax and unwind at such a lovely home, especially 15 months into a pandemic, was welcome. The pictures do not do it justice. The view of the lake from the great room and from the deck is stunning in person. Everything was spotless. Dealing with Michelle was a breeze; she gave a very thorough tour explaining everything when we first arrived. We enjoyed lounging on the deck, the firetable, and the hot tub. We didn't use the billiard or game rooms, but would love to return in other seasons with our families to take advantage. A couple of suggestions: (1) a larger or additional set of table and chairs on the deck would be welcome. (2) another full-size refrigerator/freezer would be a great asset (maybe in the garage?). With such a large house and kitchen that can accommodate so many people, it was a bit of a tight squeeze to fit our group's food and beverages in the kitchen fridge and the beverage fridge in the bar area. We probably brought more than we needed, but just a thought. We brought in a private chef/caterer to prepare dinner for us one night, and that was a lovely treat. I've provided her info to Michelle for future renters. Hope to return to this lovely property.

Our stay was simply incredible. We reconnected with one another and healed our spirits after experiencing such huge losses in our family. Presidents Day in Galena

We enjoyed our stay at Michelle’s property for a long weekend getaway. There was plenty of space to stretch out and the kids could run around. And we all used the indoor hot tub. Michelle was available to help us with any of our needs while in Galena.
