Renovated Forest Retreat with AC – Spacious 4BR in Rocky Ridge

Rocky Ridge unit # 65 is an end-unit vacation condominium ideally located in the more forested portion of the Rocky Ridge development. The unit has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and has been thoroughly renovated in 2023 (e.g., new flooring, new kitchen, new appliances, new dining room, new TV’s, new bathrooms). The spacious dining and living rooms flow together and create a large and peaceful common area, while the 4 upstairs bedrooms allow for privacy amidst newly appointed furnishings. The bedrooms include a king, Queen, Double and 2 Twin Beds. Vaulted ceilings throughout the inside of the unit provide an extra mountain ambiance, as does a large outside deck connected to the dining room. Robust high-speed WIFI (plus two desk areas) allow occupants to “stay connected”, should they so desire!

The 60-acre Rocky Ridge development is close to all that Tahoe’s north shore has to offer, including the lake, bike and hiking trails, and restaurants and shopping. The development also abuts the Burton Creek California State Park, which provides an abundance of quiet and forested trails just footsteps from the condo. The development is close to all that Tahoe City has to offer. Rocky Ridge is a gated community of 60 acres surrounded by State Forest Land, where you can enjoy nature on one of the many hiking or mountain biking trails just steps away. Amenities include 2 swimming pools, 2 spas, tennis, basketball, playground, Bocce Ball court and a private beach, annex located just down the road with parking and pier, BBQ facilities, clubhouse and volleyball court. Every vacation condo rental offers vaulted mountain-style ceilings, beautiful rock fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens, all set in an open two-story floor plan.

Rocky Ridge # 65 comes equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, two TV’s that are internet accessible and full linens, bathroom towels and beach towels, plus a large laundry room with both a washer and a dryer. The unit is equipt with an air conditioning system, which is relatively rare in the Tahoe area . The unit has ceiling fans in all 4 upstairs bedrooms.

Clean, organized kitchen with matching dishes etc. My only issue is the master bedroom bed is small and very uncomfortable. I was unable to sleep on it. Otherwise beautiful.

The grounds were absolutely beautiful. The property was too. Nicely updated, spacious with great little outdoor seating areas. The one hiccup that we had was the house binder with all of the instructions does not give the code to access the private beach, so we arrived all packed up for a day at the beach with no way to get in. This was on a Saturday and there was no one to answer the phone for help. Luckily a nice man held the gate open for us, but had we not gotten in, that would have put a huge damper on our trip. The private beach area was perfect. Clean, grassy, sandy with a pier and dozens of chaise lounges and picnic tables. Loved the beach!! Overall, we were super happy with our experience and I definitely recommend this rental
