Micromoon in the countryside

The White House Martinborough was a lovely, quiet and spacious place to stay for some much needed wind down time together before our big day. We will stay again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely stunning property, beautifully presented and of a high standard. The fact we could bring our dog was an amazing bonus and she loved the garden. The property is situated back from the road and the silence is blissful, just birds and weather sounds to lull you to sleep. Warm and cosy, we didn't use the fire but it would be a nice touch if you wanted it. The kitchen is stunning, with what the owners admit to be a complex steam oven, which we didn't try out but everything else is of top quality. The history of the property is outlined in the Welcome folder and it's astonishing to realise the house travelled all the way down to the Wairarapa - it survived and the renovation is spot on!All in all a lovely stay with family, thoroughly enjoyed by us everyone.

Luxury in the Wairarapa

The White House is a superb destination in Martinborough. Very comfortable and warm with all the modern convenience wrapped up in a stately property with many period features. Recommend wholeheartedly.

Lovely property

We had a great stay here over a weekend. House is amazing - loads of character and beautifully restored and decorated. Really appreciated being able to bring our dog. I would recommend the owners give it a good spring clean, get rid of all the cobwebs and flies, give the kitchen cupboards and drawers a vacuum etc. Also would be great to make sure there were towels etc. They were promptly provided when requested but only the towels, no dishcloths or tea towels, hand towels etc
