The location and proximity to the Lake is outstanding. It is a beautiful lake. There is also a large yard for outdoor play. We had a mix of adults and grandchildren and the home accommodated us well. All the basic essentials were there for us. All the bathrooms are on the bottom floor and the main living area is on the 2nd. For some the stairs may be a bit difficult navigate. The host communicated well with us through the arrival. We had some glitches but they were responsive as needed and followed up to check in on us.

Just two issues. Those unfamiliar with tankless water- to get a hot shower, first turn the shower lever, then turn on the water. The vacuum cleaner was choked with paper and we had to unjam it.

Lovely oasis

This was a great location, with amenities close by. Enjoyed swimming, relaxing and exploring. Gems included whale watching tour, Edward Gorey House and the rail trail for biking!

This was a large house. All bedrooms and batrooms downstairs leaving the top floor with a smaller well stocked( pots, pans and dishes) kitchen. Dining room, living room and a really nice sunroom. Pet friendly, nice size yard. Beach across the street on a clean lake.

Peaceful cape lake house

Loved the view of the water and the private beach. The grounds were beautiful.The king size bed in the master was very comfy. The only criticism I have is I felt the staircase to be unsafe for any animal.We carried our moderate sized dog up and down stairs for fear if she slipped through openings in staircase she would hurt herself. I was thrilled you are dog friendly, but that did hinder us each time we came or left .It would also be nice if there was an upstairs half bath.

House was very clean and had lots of space. Very comfortable accommodations. Unfortunately the outdoor grill did not work. The lake was absolutely beautiful but unfortunately there was bacteria detected in the water that prevented us from enjoying it during our stay.

Won’t stay again

The house was in a nice location unfortunately hot water heater couldn’t keep up with the amount of people we had there for showers which was 3 adults and 2 kids and if somebody flushed the toilet or turn the sink on immediately got cold had A bunch of ants upstairs in the kitchen master bedroom door did not have a lock on it so we had to get changed in the bathroom plus the blinds in the master didn’t work so there was no privacy overall not recommended and will not stay there again

We were the first renters after winterizing the home so there were a few issues that required us to contact the management company. They were very responsive and after a short period of time, sent over a repair guy. The outdoor shower was constantly running (wasting water) and we could not turn it off. The water lines were mislabeled in the laundry room . The unit has a tankless water heater that's mounted in the laundry room in the far corner. There's a note on the water heater stating only one shower at a time. This unit has multiple showers but because this note was not visible and there was not a information booklet anywhere, you have no idea two people cannot take a shower at the same time. This tankless water heater is definitely NOT adequate to accommodate all the water needs for a home that sleeps 9. Note, there's not a blow dryer in the home so pack one. Also note, none of the bedrooms have TV's...the only TV in the home is in the main living area. We too felt the staircase going to the upper level was not safe for a dog and we carried our moderate sized dog up and down the stairs. Ants in the master bathroom - the small sugar ants so be aware. We had already called the property manager about the water issues and were leaving so did not report that issue. The lake is beautiful but during our visit, the amount of bugs was astronomical. You could not even stand by the water without getting swarms of them. Only swimming avail at the lake - no toys.

I appreciate you bringing these additional observations to my attention. Since your stay, the outdoor shower has been repaired. The tankless water heater was also inspected and found to be operating properly, though it is designed to supply hot water to one shower at a time. The television was also confirmed to be functioning correctly. I also take reports of ants seriously and will continue to monitor the home. Excellent location for children and dogs!

Overall my family and I really enjoyed our stay here. I went with my wife, her mother, our two boys (5 and 9), and our dog. The property and location is incredible. There is a small and very private beach directly across the street on the lake. It is a corner property and both roads are relatively quiet. The lake itself is nice. It is warm water with sandy bottom. The house is big and actually has enough space to sleep 8 people if necessary. The layout is a little strange, ALL of the bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs on the ground level (entry level). There are 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths although one bedroom only has a futon and small sofa. The second floor is open living room, kitchen, dining room, and an indoor porch/sun room. The house is great for the location and activities of cape cod in the summer, but it could use some renovations. Our only real complaint about the place was the new tankless hot water heater they installed. It is completely inadequate for a house of that size. In fact, running just one tub for a bath overloads it and causes an error. It is just BARELY big enough for one shower at a time. Any more than that and it'll shut off and you won't get hot water. The home also has some electrical problems (dimming of lights, flickering, etc). Overall these issues didn't effect our enjoyment, but if I was the owner of the home I would address them. Regardless, its a great place to stay in cape cod, especially if you have dogs!

The water would go from warm to xold if any other use was going. The refrigerator smelled when we got there. We planned to make whipped xream for strawberry shortcake but no mixer hand or electric. Must have been a super fast clean, my daughter was there, told it was not ready yet half hour later miraculasly was ready. Found paper wrappers in bedroom. We all noted the electrical looks like "handy man special" example turn switch up for off

10/10 the house and yard were spacious. Had everything we needed. And communication was helpful when I had trouble with the key pad. Thanks for the stay! We will definitely be back.
