Absolutely loved our time at this property! From the hot tub, to morning coffee on the decks, a glass of wine by the creek in the evening, and smores by the campfire at night. The inside is just as amazing & has everything you need for your stay! We stayed for 5 nights & wish we could've stayed longer! What an amazing place!

Perfect location to relax and unwind. The sitting area next to the river was our favorite spot. It was a short walk to dinner in town and Alton Mills to check out some local artisans. All our basic needs were covered at this lovely unique home. Thanks to the host for timely communication and accommodating a special request.

Wonderful Weekend!

We loved our stay at this beautiful property. We were able to walk to town and the Alton Mill. The house was very comfortable for our family of 5. It had everything we needed for a great, enjoyable weekend!

Perfect getaway

Stayed here for a wedding at Millcroft inn rather than the inn. Absolutely beautiful property great space. The absolute best info inside comfy beds. We would love to come back

Beautiful retreat

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely home over Christmas. It is spacious and well laid out, perfect for groups, families or girl's weekends. The hot tub was a fantastic addition and I'm sure the pool is amazing in the warmer months. I look forward to staying here again!

Great location

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect! We walked everywhere, to the spa, lunch at The Millcroft, The Alton Mill, and to get a cappuccino in town. The space was clean and open. We loved the fireplace feature. I would definitely stay at this location again!

Perfect Staycation

We had a fantastic stay. The kids absolutely loved the pool, hot tub and tight rope, making it an ideal last-minute staycation, just an hour away from Markham. I appreciated that the pool had no deep end. Paige was the perfect host. Pleasant and she always responded in a timely manner and was accommodating of our requests. We wouldn't hesitate to return and hope to do so in the near future to enjoy some of the nearby attractions. If you plan on BBQing, be sure to drop by Heatherlea Farm Shoppe, Butchery and Cafe Restaurant for some excellent protein. Tip: Be sure to use the diffusers and essential oils provided to keep the mosquitoes away at night.

Place has it all!

Simply put wow! I’ll start with outside . Coffee in the morning on many different decks / balcony or heck in muskoka chairs by the river ! Fire pit ! Love it Pool is perfect for cooling off on the hot days Pool deck has loungers for all day sun! And the hot tub is secluded in its own little corner it’s perfect ! Inside is just got that cottage farm house feel from fireplaces to beautiful natural light all through the house . My girlfriend and I felt like we were in our own little fairytale . Paige was very very helpful and in making our stay extra special ! Thank you so much we will be coming back to this place !

5 night relaxing getaway

It was perfect. Beautiful property. Amazing pool and hot tub. The bed was so comfortable. The house was completely stocked with everything we needed and more. There were so many cute places to go. Two balconies off of two of the three bedrooms upstairs. A beautiful rain shower. Separate tub. Comfortable living room with connecting dining area and kitchen. Porch swing off the front. Huge lawn to have your dog or kids run around. Fire pit. Adirondack chairs everywhere, even two down by a beautiful peaceful stream. I just can’t say enough about this property. The host was so kind and helpful. We will be back. This place is 45 minutes from our Toronto home but it feels like a million miles away. It will be our go to escape for all seasons.

A true gem - home, location and host!

We loved the house, the location and all of the amenities. Everything was well documented and we were able to make ourselves at home.Paige answered questions that we had about the area and helped to guide our visit. We hiked to the top of the Pinnacle trail, walked in the Alton Grange and walked to the new Gather cafe in the village. We would book this again in a moment.
