Just an eight-minute drive to Adelaide's CBD and a three-minute stroll from Henley Beach Rd—lined with a plethora of restaurants and cafes—stands this divine 1900s church conversion. Retaining its historical charm, this sacred space incorporates contemporary additions such as central climate control, two bathrooms, dual workspaces, generous parking, a modern kitchen and an expansive open layout leading to a secluded patio embraced by verdant gardens.
Sharing a beautiful foyer and front entrance with the adjacent apartment, you'll have the privacy of a single unit packed with character and a warm, inviting vibe that will draw you in.
On the lower level, you'll find the kitchen, living, and dining areas. Equipped with all the essentials, the kitchen ensures you have everything you need to prepare a delightful home-cooked meal. The living area is a haven for readers, featuring an extensive bookshelf enveloping a flat-screen TV and two plush sofas positioned against floor-to-wall windows. Adjacent to this cosy setup is the dining area, furnished with a spacious formal dining table. Step outside to soak up serenity in the private courtyard set for alfresco dining.
Heading upstairs is the primary bedroom with a queen bed, a TV, a desk and a stunning ensuite with a shower and bath. The church vibes are strong, with pressed metal ceilings and original windows still in place. The second bedroom is located downstairs, set with a fold-out double bed and desk, while an additional bathroom on this level features a shower and vanity.
A washing machine and basin reside in the laundry area, and there is ample parking available within a two-space garage and driveway parking.
During your stay, you and your group will have the right-hand side of the property to yourselves. Please make yourself at home!
Torrensville is just west of the Adelaide CBD and is home to the vibrant Henley Beach Road, where you will find delicacies such as Francesco's Osteria with its authentic Venetian cuisine, and interesting takes on the basics such as a creative brunch at Pixie and The Hawk. Do yourself a favour and check out the dumplings at Parwana Afghan Kitchen. You'll be a stone's throw from the acreage of Adelaide Botanic Garden and stadium where you can get on paddle boats at Elder Park or spend the day at Adelaide Zoo.
Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.
