Romantic Valley Cabin with Outdoor Bath

This unique place has a style all its own. With expansive views across the valley, Appledore is a picture of the Huon. A luxurious cabin handmade from the ground up by local craftsmen, it offers a truly peaceful escape.

Our luxurious cabin provides all the amenities you require for a memorable stay. The main living space features a comfortable queen bed perfectly positioned to take in the incredible rural and mountain views. A cozy double bed is available in the loft, creating a snug retreat for additional guests. The full bathroom includes a modern, large walk-in shower.

Step outside onto the deck to find a large, handmade concrete bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak while you take in the incredible rural and mountain views. The deck also features an outdoor fireplace, a dining table, and a BBQ, giving you every opportunity to enjoy a local wine while gazing at the stars or even the aurora australis.

Inside, you'll find:
- Air conditioning and heating for year-round comfort
- A well-equipped kitchen for preparing your meals.
- Good Wi-Fi, and a TV with Foxtel and Netflix for when you want to unwind indoors.
- Complimentary breakfast basics, including fresh eggs from our chickens, cereals, milk, butter, spreads, tea, and coffee.

The cabin is located on our 25-acre working farmstead, and you're welcome to explore the property at your leisure. Wander through a mix of lush pasture and meandering forest, where a small creek flows into the Huon River.

Take a fresh morning walk up the hill for an expansive 270-degree view across the valley, or head down to the dam with a glass of wine and light the fire pit. If you love animals, you can pull an apple from a tree and feed the cows or try to cuddle a lamb (If you can catch one).

Guests also have access to full laundry facilities and an outdoor playground for younger visitors.

While the cabin was designed for two, it can sleep up to four adults using the double bed in the loft. Access to the loft is via a ladder, which may not be suitable for very small children or guests with mobility concerns.
