Perfect for a couple or small family, Cathy’s Cottage brings you historic charm and modern amenities for a sweet stay at the beach. Located on a quiet, tree-lined residential street and set back from the road, this single-level cutie has a snug but fully equipped kitchen, a dining nook and a living room with a gas fireplace, TV, sound system, and handy wine refrigerator. The queen bedroom has its own TV; a bunk bed room has a TV and board games for the kids as well. You can hang out on the front porch and grill dinner on the small barbecue. It’s an easy walk to a beach access, and downtown Cannon Beach is a mere ten-minute walk away. You’ll remember why this magnificent stretch of the coast has been attracting visitors for over a hundred years when you experience a stay in this adorable, historic 1935 cottage!

No frills cottage

Great little cottage for what it is… an older cottage - it is not a 5 star resort, but adequate for our stay.The fireplace was great to warm up on the cool evenings - the location was what this cottage is about. So easy to walk everywhere in town. Beach at the end of the road with easy access to Haystack Rock… excellent elk viewing, puffins etc. A bit like visiting grandmas house lol - but the pictures are accurate and do not mislead - we travel with shower shoes - I do recommend for here - the shower floor has some sort of squishy, faux tile, I’ve never seen this before as a floor product - but again, we travel with shower shoes so not a big deal. Nice, peaceful, getaway for such a quaint little town.

Instead of Cathy's Cottage Should have been called Rusty's Cottage

After my stay I was worried my kids and I would get tetanus because of all the rusty, rusted items in and outside the residence. Spending hours with your customer service agent aka, lack of customer service and emailing with the local company provided no help until the words, "small claims court" was spoken. The location is great but everything else was terrible. We specifically got this place because we also wanted to relax in the hot tub. The hot tub was underneath the garage roof. Everyday the wind would blow all the dead leaves and pine needles into the hot tub while we were using it. Which raised the stress level instead of alleviating it.
