Paddington Cottage is a classic Kangaroo Valley experience for up to 6 guests - a casual and comfortable home with stylish decor, a lovely garden setting, and a location that is within easy driving distance of the village centre. The large covered deck is also a great indoor / outdoor space, and guests can make use of the nearby fire pit for starry nights!

Where will I be?

Paddington Cottage is a short drive from Kangaroo Valley village. It is also well located vis a vis the Southern Highlands, if you want to explore that area as well during your stay. It is private and secluded, so maybe just stay at home and relax!

How is the property laid out?

Paddington Cottage is set out on one level, with 3 bedrooms, an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, and a shared bathroom. The living room opens to a large, full width deck that is great indoor / outdoor space.

The kitchen has a Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary pods provided.

Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV – will I have it?

Paddington Cottage provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that neither Kangaroo Valley Escapes, The Holidays Collection or the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If WiFi is important, please therefore always have a backup plan.

What about outdoors?

Paddington Cottage has a lovely, private garden setting with paths, garden beds and an outdoor fire pit area. The full width deck is also a great feature of the property - perfect for indoor / outdoor entertaining.

Staying warm or keeping cool?

The living area has a wood fired stove for the cooler months - perfect for heating the whole cottage. In addition, there are various plug in electric heaters for your use. In the warmer months, the property is supplied with various stand alone fans for use in the bedrooms or living area.

What about sheets, towels, and other supplies?

Paddington Cottages supplies all bed linen and bath towels.

Parking for cars, boats, etc.?

There is parking for 2 vehicles on the driveway, in the open air.

Is my cat or dog also welcome to stay?

Paddington Cottage is pet friendly, subject to the following rules:

- Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house.
- Please do not leave your dog at the house unattended during your stay.
- Absolutely no dogs on the furniture or in the bedrooms.
- If your dog will be inside during your stay please provide their bedding.
- Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately.
- Note that this property is not fully fenced and you are responsible for your pet.
- Please consider that not all guests bring dogs on holiday and we want everyone to enjoy a clean and fresh home.
- Please clean up dog hairs or anything else inside the house before your departure.

Wildlife

Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, ants, spiders, bees, wasps and even snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. You must book the property knowing that the possibility of encountering wildlife exists, and you must take care during your visit if walking around the property - please.

What are the minimum stay rules?

- Summer season: 2 nights
- Easter: 4 nights
- Christmas and New Year: 5 nights
- Long weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights

Are there any special Summer Season rules?

During Summer Season, we may have designated changeover days to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Year’s Day public holidays.
