We loved the peaceful atmosphere. The puppy Pepper was so cute and always greeted us when we were outside. Was disappointed that the pool had been shut down for the winter without notice. The beds were so comfortable. The view was so beautiful.

This house was absolutely beautiful. Completely immaculate on the inside and out. The fresh bread and eggs were a great treat. The views were amazing to enjoy a sunrise cup of coffee. And of course, the star of the property, Pepper (the dog) was loved by all.

Beautiful property. Clean, warm and inviting. Hosts, home and stay were all lovely. Felt very safe, very relaxed, and very at home. It was the perfect place to unplug for a few days. We enjoyed the pool, the wrap around porch, grilling and watching the animals. This home was very very clean and comfortable and you can tell it’s very much meant to be so. I could not recommend more and hope to return next summer.

This is such a beautiful property. The pictures do not do it justice! Sheila is a wonderful host and you’ll love the outdoor dog named pepper! Such a relaxing vacation.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience and time staying here! The views were amazing! We felt right at home from the time we checked in! The crash eggs and homemade bread were so thoughtful and amazing! Everything about our stay was worth the drive out into the countryside!

Very relaxing stay

The setting and surrounding area are full of nature sounds and beautiful views. We were able to see local fireworks across the valleys from the pool Friday night. The house was very clean and well kept. The owner was responsive to any communications. The pets that visited from the owners home were a highlight! Thanks for sharing the experience at your property!

Amazing trip!!!

We had such an amazing time! The cabin was immaculately clean and very comfortable. We were greeted with a fresh loaf of bread and farm fresh eggs, which is an unheard of perk! The gardens and area surrounding the cabin are amazing and the view - outstanding!! The pool is pristine and provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the surroundings. And our little furry friend, Pepper, was the best!! We will definitely return! Thank you!

Very quiet and relaxing. Beautiful home and landscaping with shaded deck and pool! We love it here and book it for same time every year. Sheila always has us homeade bread which is yummy!

Country Relaxation

When we first arrived we were greeted by Pepper, their Australian Shepherd. When we walked in the home was very clean and we were treated with a homemade loaf of bread and some farm fresh eggs for our stay. If you are looking for a nice secluded stay with a pool, look no further.

Hidden Gem

Our stay here was amazing. The cottage was perfect right down to the homemade bread and fresh farm eggs. Shelia is absolutely the best host ever, she was readily available anytime we needed her which was never because she had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. But Pepper and Snooks were the highlight of our trip. We will absolutely be back.

This place was awesome! Very quiet and peaceful, Great location! Loved the animals and the pool! The cottage was a great size! I would definitely stay again! Owners were very friendly but kept to themselves. Pepper their puppy was out little pal, which was fine!

Paradise in the country

Our stay in Mack’s Creek was so charming and peaceful. The lodge is so clean my toddler couldn’t find any crumbs. The pool was perfect. The view is amazing. The fresh bread and eggs were amazing and such a sweet thoughtful touch. We really enjoyed the lodge having lazy days swimming and resting. We were even able to get two naps one day. Our son loved singing Old Macdonald to the cows. The property is just gorgeous. Shelia was so friendly and definitely the best host we have had. Nothing but positive things to say about this place. Our family usually goes non stop on vacation. This was a wonderful rest. We hope to be back one day. Thanks again for such an amazing time !

Great getaway

Peaceful pleasant style place, enjoyed the fresh baked bread and farm eggs. Sheila is will meet you nicest lady show you the layout and then get into the pool, walk outside past the grill. No worries everything is there come to relax and enjoy yur getaway 😎 😉 😊 view the views morning 🌄 and sunsetting are beautiful morning coffee, nighttime beverages In the swing by the pool. You will have a great stay and pepper will greet you in the morning

Lovely Place

We had a wonderful time. Very secluded which made it very restful and peaceful. We enjoyed having Pepper the dog and Snooks the cat visit us regularly throughout the days. The place was spotless, and Sheila's fresh eggs and homemade bread made it even more enjoyable. The private pool was wonderful, and the view was to die for. We will be going back.

Perfect and peaceful.

This place couldn’t have been more perfect for what we were looking for. We were at a baseball tournament just up the road, my 11yr old son, and myself. Greeted when we arrived by the happy boy Pepper, and owner Shiela. Sheila could not have been more pleasant. And to have fresh bread and farm eggs… that’s not something you get from a city rental. It was quiet, the pool was clean and wonderful with how hot it was, and the house was clean and cozy. Couldn’t have been happier! If we are ever that way again, I will absolutely book this place again!

Charming country retreat

We had a great time relaxing on our weekend away. We were welcomed with homemade bread and farm fresh eggs for our stay. The pool was very nice to cool off in. Everything was kept very nice and it was a beautiful property. The owners were very friendly and available if needed. Communication was great. If you're looking for a quiet place to unwind, this is it!

Fabulous property!

Peaceful and beautiful property. Hosts were very welcoming and literally not even a speck of dust in the whole cabin! Immaculately taken care of. Fresh farm eggs and freshly baked bread waiting for us in the kitchen. Fluffy towels, fresh clean bedding and all the conveniences of home. I will definitely be booking this one again in the future!

The perfect getaway!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary, and we could not have asked for a nicer stay. The property is absolutely lovely and so well maintained. The views from the porch were beautiful and it was just such a peaceful place to relax and get refreshed. The house itself was very clean and comfortable and Sheila was the perfect host. This was our first time staying here, but I am sure it won’t be the last!

Wonderful!!

This is our second trip to Country Haven Lodge. The views are beautiful and serene. The house is lovely. We really enjoyed the pool and my kids spent hours swimming. Sheila was so kind and had fresh baked bread w/ butter as well as fresh eggs for us when we arrived. We cannot wait to come back again!! We had a wonderful time!

Fantastic Stay

My wife had been to the property earlier this summer and had a great time with the grandkids, so we decided to go as a couple - just us. We had a great, relaxing time. In fact, we enjoyed the quiet and the pool and the view so much that we wound up staying on the property for the whole 4 days, though we’d initially planned to make excursions to Ha Ha Tonka and the nearby Amish community. Hostess Sheila is very welcoming and friendly, and the fresh baked bread she provided on our arrival was delicious! Could not recommend more highly. We will be back again next year.
