Located in Kincardine on the sandy shores of Lake Huron you'll find Blue Nugget nestled amongst the private community of Cedar Terraces. This quiet secluded beach is only a 5 minute drive to the quaint town of Kincardine where there's always something going on. Stoney Island Conservation Area is just a short 15 minute walk north along the picturesque shoreline or enjoy walking or biking along the extensive new B-Line trail. There's plenty of beaching to do too! Swimming or just lazing on the lake front patio without a care in the world. Being pet friendly allows everyone to enjoy the trip. After a long relaxing day enjoy a rinse off in the outdoor shower then retire to the patio for a BBQ and sunset cocktails, you will have no idea where you are! At night enjoy your private beach front fire pit while enjoying the amazing stars. Repeat

Loved it!

Our stay at Blue Nugget was everything we hoped for. Quiet, relaxing, gorgeous Lake Huron scenery.Cottage was well-equipped and cozy.Hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful view of the lake. The cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway. The owners are kind and attentive, the place in clean, comfortable and quiet. My wife and i enjoyed our stay 10/10 would definitely rent again

Exceptional Cottage and Property

The cottage is very clean and stocked with everything needed for a memorable stay. The location in a private small community just north of Kincardine is a bonus and the lakefront view is stunning. Put this all together and the temptation is to return year after year.

2 night stay at Blue Negget cottage, Kincardine.

The only disappointing thing was that I couldn't stay longer! The cottage/amenities and property exceeded my expectations and I had a lovely, restful 2 days away with my pup, including hiking, swimming and reading. The hosts were very kind and helpful. area area andd

Amazing stay in Kincardine

Frank & Kelly were absolutely wonderful hosts, they were extremely helpful with everything that we needed. The property is also in such a good spot, we had a blast and they allow dogs! Definitely will be coming back! Thanks!

The best summer holiday

The stay at the Blue Nugget was truly amazing. We couldn’t have asked for any better. The cabin was extremely well kept and comfortable. It was perfect for beautiful sunsets. Frank and Kelly thought of everything including a nice Welcome note when you got there. It was nice to have the bedding and towels supplied. The access to the beach with no stairs was the reason we initially decided on the Blue Nugget and the rest was just a lovely addition to our stay. Thank you so much for our best summer holiday. Karen

Blue nugget is a gold nugget!

The blue nugget truly is paradise!! My wife and i had a wonderful stay. First off the hosts were friendly,helpful and responsive to all our needs and question. The rustic cottage in a gated community is well appointed( kitchen stuff/bedding/towels) , clean with 2 bedrooms, living room and dining room. The patio area is roomy with plenty of seating options. The view is spectacular and the sunsets are even better. A cottage right on sandy dune beaches will have you thinking you are in northern california. No compaints at all, our stay at the blue nugget exceeded our expectations and we paln to return this fall.

Amazing Private Beach

Had an amazing stay at Blue Nugget! Perfect location right on the beach we lucked out with the weather and because their isn't a public access nearby we had the beach to ourselves. You can even walk all the way to town along the beach but it is a bit of a hike. Cottage was perfect, just what we needed. Frank & Kelley thought of everything from bedding & towels to creamers & ice in the fridge. Nothing we needed to stress about BBQ was ready for use and there was even wood for the fire pit. I would definitely stay again & recommend it!
