This was the cutest place. Loved the views of the harbor and hearing Reveille/Taps from the Naval base. Would definitely book this place again.

Red house

We loved the Red House. It was adorable and spotlessy clean. Plenty of towels and cookware. The view was amazing. Two blocks from the waterfront and ferry terminal. We will definitely book again next time we want to visit Port Orchard.

Perfect little house

This is such a cute little house close to the bay and was a perfect location. The house is new and clean. You can hear taps and the national anthem from the navy base from across the bay in the morning. It’s has a beautiful view from the back of the house. The host is available quickly if you need something. The main bed is comfortable but the two pull outs aren’t as comfortable.

Red Cottage with Great Views

First and foremost Fred is an excellent host. Very accommodating and wants to make sure your stay is comfortable. The place is new and updated, water is hot, bed is comfortable and washer and dryer work great. The views are awesome from all windows and the best view for us was the Chocolate Lab in the neighbor’s yard. : ) We even did a day trip to Woodinville for wine tasting and meeting up with family. On a Sunday it was less than a 1.5 hour drive. We came up here to house hunt and when we need to come back we will stay here for sure.

Great location on a lovely property. Everything was clean and in “working order,” matched the photos and description. Super communicative host, clear instructions about how to access, and regularly check in. We primarily used the house to sleep and shower in. The water pressure was very disappointing: it was so weak, showers were a problem, so much so I had to skip bathing the second day. This should really be disclosed in the listing to set expectations. Would not be able to stay here again, and this goes way beyond person preference.

From the owner: “I am very sorry to hear that you had this disappointing experience with the shower. I wish I had known, as I might have been able to rectify the situation. The cottage and the main house rely on the same water main. It's possible the laundry or another shower were in use at the same time. We’ll make sure this is well communicated for future guests and explore potential improvements. Thank you for your review!”

Niece

We highly recommend this lovely and wonderful vacation home. The little amenities like snacks, water, fresh milk, puzzles, cards, and nourishing shampoo were a nice surprise. We enjoyed the view of the water and beautiful sunsets. We felt secure and welcomed. The newer facility was spacious, quiet, very clean, and "sustainably green". It was convenient to other communities in the area. Communication was clear and consistent. We hope to visit next year.
