This early-1900s Middlebury home has long been split as a duplex with an upper / lower apartment. We`ve made recent updates, decorated, and furnished the first floor unit for short term use and we know that you will have a positive experience here!

This property offers a short walk to Main Street and is 1 mile to the Middlebury College campus, with easy access to the TAM (Trail Around Middlebury).

You`ll have everything you need to live in this space, just bring food and drink!

Fully stocked kitchen, laundry, towels and sheets with clean comfortable beds ready for you! Private off-street parking. Outdoor porch space to enjoy the beauty and nature of VT! The view of the mountains and sunsets are A++!

Hardwood floors throughout with essentially the entire apartment recently pulled to the studs and updated. Fully stocked kitchen, laundry, towels and sheets with clean comfortable beds ready for you!

Two true bedrooms, with the living room as a den flex space with french doors that can be closed so it can easily be converted to another bedroom if needed. Two full bathrooms with brand new stand-up shower stalls.

Accessible from our street (High St) is the TAM (Trail Around Middlebury) which is a footpath over 18 miles long, encircling the village of Middlebury and linking several hundred acres of town land, conserved properties, schools, and other local landmarks.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome, $50+tax pet fee required (covering 1 dog) and charged separately after booking. Larger pet fee required for longer term reservations.

Lockbox access, code provided a few days before arrival.

You will have private access to this 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in this duplex house. (This is unit #1, the first floor apartment)

Great location. Easy check in and conveniently located near town and some interesting hiking trails. Loved the place. Equipped with most essentials including washer and dryer. Would definitely go back!

Clean and very comfortable

Middlebury is a great location to stay when touring Vermont. This VRBO has everything you need and is laid back and not fancy.The showers are great and the bed comfortable with a full stocked kitchen. You need to provide your own coffee though. And there are many great roasters in Vermont.The price points for this cute renewed farmhouse was perfect for us.Great coffee and breakfast spots close by. We highly recommend this property.

College drop off

This is our second fall in a row staying here. We have celebrated two birthdays here and fed college kids in the large kitchen/dining area. It is walkable to the coop and to campus. It’s great.

Not a luxurious property, but worked out very well for us. Clean, safe, comfortable, adequate parking, nice kitchen amenities, quiet, reasonably priced. Air conditioned (separate unit in each room). Walkable to downtown Middlebury (although driving was more practical for us older folks!) There were four us; we had plenty of room. Might be a little tight for 6?? The one time we called the property managers, they were very responsive. Would be happy to stay there again.

Great Place!

We really enjoyed this property! Tons of space for 4 of us. Appreciated having a en suite bath in the master. Two beds (queen and single) in the second bedroom were great for two teens. Kitchen was well stocked. Mudroom was great for storing our ski gear. TV room was comfortable and easy to connect to our streaming services. Contacted the owner once for help with heat and response was immediate and helpful! Great location to allow us to ski Sugarbush and Killington. About an hour to each. Middlebury is a cute town with lots of good restaurants.

Very Comfy place - nice views and very accessible location. Super easy to get to other points in VT too.The place is nicely accessorized - we had everything we needed: kitchen, living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms.Bonus side yards and backyards for our dog too. Will definitely stay here again!

4 “young” seniors In town for a family wedding for the weekend.

In town for a family wedding for the weekend. We had a very pleasant stay, with this property being central to all of our family activities for the wedding. We were 2 couples and we each had a bedroom and a full bathroom which was important to us but hard to find up in that area. Very close to the center of town Middlebury with nice shopping and eating choices. Be mindful if you have any older people in your party that it may not be easy to maneuver the driveway/side entrance because it is on the side of a mountain. I was most impressed by how responsive the host was there any questions that I had when we arrived and during our stay. Definitely would stay there again if going back to the area for a visit.

July 2022 Visit

This property is an excellent option for those visiting Middlebury. It's very clean and well-appointed, and very quiet. It's probably a little too far from most businesses in town (or the College) for most people to want to walk more than once or twice a day, but the driving is easy and quick. We are quite familiar with Middlebury and its options, and were very pleased with this property.
