We had such a lovely stay at Mr. Weber’s beautiful apartment in Whiting. The apartment is warm, comfortable, peaceful, and very thoughtfully cared for, and the surrounding Vermont countryside is absolutely charming.Mr. Weber was a kind and gracious host, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. One of the best things about the location is that it is only about a 10-minute drive from Middlebury, while still offering a wonderfully quiet and relaxing setting. We would especially recommend this apartment to families visiting students at Middlebury College. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we would be delighted to stay again.

This was a great stay! We met Peter on our arrival and he personally showed us the apartment. There was a fresh bouquet of flowers there that my mom especially loved. The apartment is great and spacious. Fun to wake up hearing the cows down the road. We made full use of the fridge driving to various daytrips for cheese and cider and fruit. Perfect location for daytrips around VT and for birding. You have to step outside when it gets dark to see the stars.

A hidden gem of a property. Host was great and the apartment was a very homey experience far from our real home. Didn't care for the steep stairs up to the living area, but us old folks survived. If you don't plan on cooking every meal, be prepared to drive a bit, but the area is very scenic not far from Lake Champlain, and Middlebury for dinner and groceries.

Thanks, Tim. We appreciated your visit, and we hope your drive back home was safe and pleasant. We try to be as upfront as possible with our property's details, and the photos include the stairway. Unfortunately, it is difficult to depict the angle of the step incline.

This was an ideal location for us. Nestled between the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks. On good weather days, we hiked the Green Mountains and drove through small villages and towns. When the rain chased us off the trails, we were centrally located to go on drives and explore other areas to the north and east. Our host was welcoming, but also gave us our space to relax and enjoy our stay.Would highly recommend. Thanks again for a great stay!

Five summer days in Vermont

Very clean quiet setting, conveniently close to Middlebury College. Close to all the venues for our visit to Otter Creek Music Festival.Well-stocked fridge for breakfast and bathroom supplies had everything we could want. Host Peter insisted on carrying our luggage up and down the stairs. Couldn’t ask for a better host.
