Introducing Sea Dunes 504! This 3 bed/3 bath unit is an exceptional corner unit that features extra special views of the Gulf of Mexico! Upon entering the front door, the hallway leads you to a beautiful open concept living room and kitchen. The kitchen has gorgeous wooden cabinetry with stainless steel appliances and amazing views of the water. Stunning and spacious 3 bedroom 3 bathroom unit directly on the beach with UNFORGETTABLE view! You are just steps away from the private WRAPAROUND balcony that can be accessed from the living room as well as the master bedroom. With its own private entrance to the balcony and a bathroom with a walk in shower AND a tub, this bedroom cannot be beat. The second and third bedroom also have ensuite bathrooms and there is a full sized washer and dryer located INSIDE the unit! Whether you want to unwind on the sleeper sofa in the living room and watch TV or enjoy your morning coffee out on the balcony, Sea Dunes 504 has everything you need and more for a relaxing vacation!

When we arrived this time the air conditioner was out but we called and they were right there to fix it. Overall it’s a great place just need some maintenance in the master bathroom and an extra chair in the living room.

Manage your expectations

The positives: This unit has a nicely equipped kitchen with both a regular coffee pot and a keurig, an air fryer, and plenty of utensils. The beds are comfortable, plenty of seating in the common areas, a full-sized HE washer and dryer, and a closet full of beach equipment. The starter pack is better than most condos in the area. The rental agency was great with communication and check-in was easy. Negatives: it is a no-frills building, which we prefer for a less crowded beach experience, but manage your expectations. There is no lobby and one elevator from the very small parking garage. The unit was filthy when we arrived and we notified the rental agency, who reached out to us the next morning to offer to have it cleaned again. We declined since I’d already purchased cleanser and cleaned the bathrooms myself the night before. I’m not sure who owns this unit, but they need a new cleaning company asap. The hot tub seats 3-4 adults, so we didn’t have opportunity to use it during our stay. Also of note, the free beach chair setup is first come, first served each day unless you purchase an additional setup from the vendor. We’d already planned on that, so it wasn’t a big deal, but several families around us complained about not being able to reserve chairs.

We stayed a week and it was a great space for all of us. We had 7 people total. The rooms were clean, the condo spacious, the kitchen was great! The view of the ocean is everything you’d want. The beach was very close. Maybe a 2 minute walk. Truly a beautiful space to enjoy. Sadly, we had several issues that made us rate this stay lower. A lady let herself into our condo without knocking. She had the code and asked if we were leaving. We told her no. We discovered after calling the managing agency, that she was a cleaning person who arrived at the wrong room. On our second day, the elevator was broken for 8 hours. Going up 5 flights of stairs was not so vacation-like. This unit is advertised as non-smoking and further lists that the entire facility is non-smoking. However, each morning, someone was smoking on the balcony beside or below us. We have a child with severe asthma and this meant we all had to simply stay inside. We did notify the management company, to which they responded they would tell the HOA and there was nothing they could do. On our last day, we had until 10am to check out. However, at 9:20am housekeeping knocked on the door, saying they were there to clean the room and we should check out. We let them know that we’d be out by 10am. Which we were (9:54am). We really wanted to love the experience. The overall location and space were great. Sadly, we won’t be returning to this particular condo due to the safety issues and smoking.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival the unit was clean and stocked with everything needed for our comfort. My family and I did our grocery shopping needed to get by as expected but the home away from home was clean and met our expectations! Great location to many wonderful restaurants, countless activities and plenty of shopping! There was no communication about work being done during our stay, only that there would be an interruption in the water for about 10 min. There was no communication with any management. The only negative comments are, that there was a large amount of work being done so it made napping for the baby a challenge with the constant hammering and sawing going on, in addition the HVAC vans made parking hard, but I realize those things have to be done.
