This newly renovated 3 bed 1.5 bath home is truly a golfer's paradise. Located directly on the 2nd hole of Cabot Links, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the course while relaxing on the shared back deck or fire pit. It's a short walk to the beach, and you can cut through the golf course in the evenings. We are steps away from the resort and all the towns amenities. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets and the serenity of Inverness. Right next door to Villa 21, book both for larger groups who want to stay close together.

The space

Welcome to our historic Inverness coal miner Company House, renovated in 2022 and located on the 2nd hole of Cabot Links golf course. Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom property offers an amazing view of the ocean and golf course and sleeps up to 6 people.

Steps away from the Cabot Links Pro Shop and Cabot Public House, you can enjoy the incredible sunsets directly behind the house in mid-summer. Our kitchen is equipped with all the amenities you need to prepare delicious meals. It comes complete with a kitchen, refrigerator, range, oven, dishwasher, glassware, dishes, small appliances, silverware, pots and pans, and the basic utensils. We’ve also provided a washer and dryer for your convenience. There is a dining room and living room with ample seating and a Golden tee arcade game.

Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms and a full bathroom with shower. There are queen beds in two bedrooms upstairs and bunk beds in the third bedroom. We have provided you with extra linens and towels for your comfort.

False Advertising - Not as Listed

First and foremost this property is not as listed. It has no outside pictures for a reason. From the listing name you are led to believe that this is a villa that is part of Cabot and it definitely is not. There was garbage outside the property when we arrived and while the front door code worked the deadbolt was on so we could not get into the property. It states that it backs on to the golf course like a villa at Cabot would but there is another house and a service road between the house and the golf course. We arrived for a funeral of a family member to find the house not as advertised, garbage on the lawn and locked out. I asked to cancel the reservation as it was not as advertised and the host has refused and still refuses to refund my money. We had to get another property and now are out of pocket for the cost of this house, that we refused to stay in and the one we actually stayed at. THIS IS NOT A VILLA AT CABOT, don't let the description fool you like it did me. When I asked the host he stated it was a play on words as the Cabot villas stop at 20, and that was why he called his two places Villa 21 and 22 Cabot. I don't find it funny at all, it is False advertising...BE AWARE! I have tried with VRBO to be refunded by no help and the host refuses to refund as stated. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Inverness property

Unfortunately the home we were assigned on the Vrbo site was not the one we stayed in, another couple were also booked in our assigned residence. It took a few phone calls to numerous people, with neighbours assisting us to resolve which home we were supposed to be in. The residence was clean, but unfinished and was a storage unit for certain lawn items. Window coverings were not available, especially in a very large main floor room and some bedrooms, causing some safety concerns since we were in public view at all times. Very strong sewage smell in half bathroom on main floor consistently. Parking in our unit also an issue, since it was a shared driveway which we were unaware of. Sharing a patio also uncomfortable since you were sitting in front of the patio door of the Vrbo beside us. Overall the unit was satisfactory but could definitely be improved.

great location for beach, no AC or microwave

The location was great in terms of the beach. Advertised a microwave and there wasn't one, which is misleading. not a huge deal but there should have been a large pot to cook with. There was no AC and no screens of most of the windows and it was stifling hot especially at night trying to sleep. We had to share the deck and fire pit with the neighbour and that was not in the descriptons.
