Moose Meadows Lodge by Mountain Vacation Lodging is an extraordinary luxury home with 3 different living areas, multiple outdoor spaces, a chef's kitchen, a theater room, a billiards room and bar, six bedrooms, and seven bathrooms. The main Great Room features 30 foot ceilings, a double sided huge stone fireplace, massive panoramic windows, and a dining room table that seats 10. The lodge is situated on a hilltop overlooking the valley and right in between the ski mountain and downtown Steamboat ! ITS AMAZING !!!!!!!!

This Luxury Home recently underwent a complete renovation and continues to see annual upgrades, making it one of the most extraordinary rental homes in the Steamboat area. It has 4 different living areas, 2 large decks, a nice grassy yard, and a plethora of beds sure to work for any group. You could hold a film screening or watch the big game in the huge Home Movie Theater, which features a 100 inch screen and surround sound. You could cue up some billiards in the Game Room, which also features a wet bar, HDTV, fireplace, lounge furniture, and views of the ski slopes. The Great Room is such a large beautiful space that you'll be able to have a large dinner for everyone together in one space. It features 30 foot ceilings, a double sided fireplace, multiple lounge areas, and multiple tables for dining or games. The kitchen would be over the top were this home not designed to be ideal for large groups. There are 4 ovens, a massive professional gas range with flat top griddle, an extra large sub zero fridge, even the granite counters are double the normal thickness! Inside the beautiful custom cabinetry, you'll find plenty of dish ware, top notch pots and pans, everything you could want and more. There are even multiple coffee makers and carafes ready to get everyone going in the morning. Perhaps the best thing about this home are the views. You will enjoy incredible views of amazing sunrises, sunsets, Steamboat's renowned Alpenglow, and have elevated views of the multiple annual fireworks displays! Perched on the hillside in between Downtown Steamboat Springs and the Mountain Village / ski area base, this beautiful home is convenient to both centers of activity! The home has parking for 6 vehicles, and the free city bus picks up and drops off within 100 yards of the home. There is also a hiking and biking trailhead about 150 yards from the home which connects to lots of other tails and loops within the Rita Valentine Park. ** Rental Agreements, Security Deposits, Rental Requirements - All hotels and rental properties have some rules and are subject to some amount of laws or regulations. ** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. Please let us know if you have any concerns.
** Cleaning Fees & Lengthy Rental Periods - The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one week, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second week, third week, and so on. If you are booking for a lengthy stay, please contact us before booking online to discuss your group, your dates, the rates, the cleaning schedule, etc.

Beautiful retreat

Great large house with very big kitchen and deck for a family gathering. Well stocked and great bedrooms for a large family. Some small issues - 2 of the 8 burners didn't light. Pool table felt all torn up. Beds somewhat soft. Only one dish rag given and took 2 days to get 2 more delivered. Could have used blinds on front windows as dinner time was rough for those facing the western window. But overall I would stay here again - really nice set up for a family that needs 6 bedrooms and wants to cook and hang out mornings and evenings on the deck. Great location as well

Birthday ski trip

I booked this property for 4 couples, a single adult, and an infant grandchild. The floor plan was perfect with a fun game room and large great room which really allowed us to spread out. 9 minute drive to downtown and 17 minutes to get to the parking lot to ski. Group consensus on the beds was thumbs up. My only criticism was a litttle wear and tear shown in the kitchen,, but a good layout for cooking a large dinner.

Beautiful Home, Great Location, Needs Maintenance and Deep Clean

The Pros: The home is beautiful and is in a great area with great views of the ski area. The great room is the best feature of the home. Check-in was easy.The Cons: The home is obviously frequently rented and it needs lots of maintenance. Many items are in disrepair. As we were staying there, every day we would notice things that needed to be fixed or replaced. The Management Company puts it on the renter to report maintenance issues at the beginning of their stay. I did that and had several phone calls with the Management Company regarding the maintenance issues and the girl told me that a manager would call me to discuss the issues we were having. No one contacted us during our stay. We have been checked out for four days now and have yet to receive any calls from anyone. The cleanliness could have been better. The great room wood floors were sticky and we had to rinse all the dishes before using and the cutting board provided was so dirty, we decided not to use it. The microwave was not clean. The beds were NOT comfortable and this was a consensus from all the occupants in our party. We had a party of 10 people for a one week stay and housekeeping did not leave anywhere near enough towels for us. I called to ask where the linen closet was for more towels and the girl from the management company told me that it was locked up. It took two days to receive more towels. For the price we paid, there should not be this many issues for the guest to deal with.

We can confirm that there were enough towels provided for all guests during the stay, and additional towels were provided quickly as needed. Regarding the cleanliness, our team strives for the highest standards and we take feedback like this seriously. Housekeeping has been made aware of the importance of inspecting and ensuring that all aspects of cleanliness, including dishes and appliances, are up to the expected standards. As for the maintenance items mentioned, we aim to address any issues in real-time and appreciate patience as we continue to make improvements. Our management team works to ensure communication is clear and consistent, and we regret if any delays in follow-up communication occurred. We truly appreciate all feedback and are committed to providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all of our guests. We look forward to welcoming future guests and ensuring they have a fantastic stay!
