Ski-in/Ski-out Chalet with Big Mountain Views and Hot Tub!

Powder and Pines Chalet is a beautiful 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom chalet that sleeps 13 in the ski-in/ski-out community of Big Mountain. With 3,000 square feet of living space, guests can warm up next to 2 fireplaces, enjoy après ski drinks in the private hot tub, or cook on the BBQ grill. Winter sports enthusiasts will love direct ski access behind the townhome! Summer sports enthusiasts will enjoy quick access to hiking and biking trails, the aerial adventure park, alpine slides and zip-line tours.

Experience the beauty of this stunning 3-story unit. Step onto the deck, where guests can cook out on the BBQ grill and enjoy the majestic Big Mountain views.

Outside the back door onto the lower deck is the private hot tub.

On-site parking for 3 vehicles, with 1 in the heated garage. For ski access, take the ski trail behind the property that leads to the Base Lodge and the lower lift terminal, and then take either the Home Again Trail or Chipmunk Trail back to the property. There's also a free S.N.O.W. Bus stop nearby.

*Please note that while this property has air conditioning in the 2 upper bedrooms, the entire house does not.

Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish!

Great ski-in ski-out location

This is a great condo for families! The ski-in ski-out location is right next to "Base" and was very easy to get around. The condo is beautiful and the hot tub was perfect after skiing all day! Would recommend highly!

Perfect ski in/ski out

This was the perfect house for two families to share. Access to base lodge was excellent. There were tons of hooks & storage options for coats, gear, skis.

Exactly what I wanted

Very comfortable. Very accessible to ski lifts. Had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves and be relaxed. Definitely book again.

No lose property & location

This property was as described & portrayed on-line. Excellent ski location & access. Split levels allow privacy & separating from the group. Heated garage is a plus as was the hot tub. Provided a pleasant experience.

Great weekend!

The property was great and was very clean. The communication with the property management group was excellent and in fact, they were very helpful in providing us recommendations for dining out, etc. which was a nice touch. If I were planning on a trip to Whitefish Mountain, I would have no hesitancy to book this property!

Wonderful ski trip

Perfect location and the place is beautiful and really nice. Everything was better than advertised. Hot tub was amazing! We had two families, 4 adults, 8 kids and it was ideal. Three separate living/TV areas worked great. Kitchen is super nice. Proximity to lift is crazy good. Would love to go back!!

Best on the Mountain!

We absolutely love this location and the layout of the house. Beautiful home, great amenities, perfect pampered vacation. My only complaint is that I wish the comforters and blankets were cleaned between renters. The house was clean, just lots of stains on bedding and blankets!

After 18 years with WF Reservations, they made no effort to earn our business. This VRBO was actually cheaper than a smaller unit under WF Reservation.Unit was beautiful, clean, roomy, and a true ski in and out.The property managers were responsive and answered all our questions.A must rent unit for sure.

Ski trip

Could not have been more pleased with the house. Lived up to everything the listing states. Hot tub and ski in/out cannot be beat as top amenities. In addition after something was left after checkout and we had already departed the area, managers of the house were easily contacted and were prompt to ship the item to where it needed to be. You can’t go wrong with the house.

Great location right on the mountain!

We had the best time in Whitefish at this chalet. Beautiful view. Very nice, clean property. We had everything we needed to cook meals at the home. We did not rent a car. We bought groceries on the in from the airport, and door dashed the rest. Base lodge and multiple chair lifts were a very short ski ride down a small hill. We utilized the snow bus to go into town, and Ubers were also easy to get. Two families of five (6 children total) had a very comfortable, fun stay. And there was still room for more! We plan to book here again. We absolutely loved it.

Excellent house and location for 2 families!

This property was a fantastic house for our two families - everyone had plenty of space and the ski in ski out was as advertised and minutes from the base village. Our only complaints were a lack of kitchen utensils/gadgets, and a shortage of towels. There were only 8 towels, and with the hot tub, we were washing towels every day. Other than that, it was perfect! Easy to get to, clean, just the right amount of luxury, and plenty of comfortable beds/bathrooms! If you’re looking for a ski in/ski out at Whitefish for all ski abilities, this is it!

Boys Trip ‘24

This is a beautiful house literally at the base of a ski resort. We had 6 of us, and this house easily accommodated all of us. During our stay we had weather in the mid 80’s to low 90’s, and this presented a slight problem. I say that because the vast majority of this house does NOT have AC. The 2 master suites however DO have AC units. The only other bummer was the 10am checkout time.

1st time to Montana

Went to Montana for my daughters wedding. Decided to rent a property were the family could all stay. The property was awesome. Our flights got changed with the airlines, so I reached out to property manager upon landing to see if we could check in a little early. Response was almost instant. 1st impression was how clean and nice the property was upon arrival. Loved the layout and the fact that the bedrooms each basically had their own floor. 2nd fridge in the garage was useful. Information about the unit and local area to dine and visit were all organized in a binder. No issues with the unit and cannot wait to come back.

Frigid Whitefish

Property is perfectly situated, clean and has all advertised amenities. Check in process was a bit rough…..had to call management company after 4p after not having been texted codes. Upon arrival to property in -14deg temps, found that the provided entry codes were incorrect. Property was extremely cold upon entry (50deg) and, given that it has radiant heat, took almost a whole day to heat up. Perhaps the departure settings shouldn’t be so low….or it could be prepped prior to next arrivals. Overall was a great place to stay and we would book it again. Thx!

This was our second visit to Powder and Pine. It was fantastic. We hope to return again. It is a beautiful condo, stocked with all of the necessities. And, you can't beat its proximity to the slopes.

Nice place.

This property worked very well for our group. Kitchen/dinning area was large enough to accommodate our larger group. The main level was a little warm for my liking in the afternoons with no A/C however this was in the property description so it wasn't a surprise. Great location with easy access to the main attractions of the area. Check in/out was a breeze with great communication from the owner.

Excellent stay

Very nice property and location. The property managers were extremely helpful and prompt.

Great family vacation spot

The property provided plenty of space for our family of 10. Everyone had plenty of space, and the furnishings were very nice.
