A hidden gem an hour or less away from NKY, Cincy, Louisville and Lexington. Beautifully updated home. Both rear decks and rear-facing windows have impressive lake views and the dock is awesome!!

Our family absolutely loved our stay! Traveling with a group that included both young children and older family members can be challenging, but this property was perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and the layout gave our older guests the privacy and comfort they appreciated while still having great spaces for the kids to play.Everything was exactly as described in the listing, and the hosts thought of everything. We spent hours swimming in the lake and had so much fun using the provided lake toys. In the evenings, relaxing in the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of adventures. We traveled from Atlanta, Georgia, to visit the Ark Encounter, and the location couldn’t have been better. It was even close enough that we took a spontaneous trip to Cincinnati, Ohio, for dinner one evening just for fun! This was truly a place our entire family enjoyed, from the youngest to the oldest. We’re already talking about bringing even more family members back for another stay. Highly recommend!

It is a beautiful property overall, well-equipped and decorated, and the service was great. The view of the lake was amazing, beautiful, and entertaining. Our challenge that there was no cell service on the property, and we couldn't find the door code as it wasn't available until the day of our arrival when we were busy travelling. We couldn't access internet or call to get help because there was no cell service. So we had to drive off property and reach out to VRBO customer service. The host was available and solved our problem promptly. Maybe a booster, or give the wifi code with the check-in instructions so at least internet can be accessed. Also, since the door code is changed with each guest (it was the last 4 of my cell phone) go ahead and give it with initial instructions.Another challenge is that the bathrooms were lacking blinds on the windows and it was quite the fish bowl experience, especially the upstairs shower.Last, the upstairs room was too hot and the basement was freezing - multi-zone thermostats maybe?

This is a great place and the lake is so quiet, pretty, and family oriented. I would say the only downfall is the steep drive way and it was steep to walk to the water. The house was fantastic and they provided us with plenty of starter items that we didn’t need to go out and buy more. I highly recommend!

Great and convenient location for our Ark and Creation Museum visits. The boys enjoyed fishing off the dock on our last day. Would definitely recommend and would come again if ever back in Kentucky.
