The host was always quick to respond to our questions. He made excellent suggestions for parking our second car. He supported a parking switch for our large truck. I liked that he checked in regularly on us and offered to help with any needs we had. VRBO was clean and perfect for three couples. Very relaxing space. Area was perfect for restaurants, cafes, walking and renting bikes. Grocery store across the street with excellent alcohol selection, Easy access to old Quebec. Night life noises not an issue. Ear plugs worked. Highly recommend!

Redbull Lodge is situated in a convenient location to explore Quebec City. Within the St Roch district there are shops, restaurants, parks and entertainment within walking distance. Old Quebec, the Parliament, the Plains of Abraham and museums are a short Uber trip away. We did not use the parking options available with the unit but were offered 2. The apartment layout has 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, in addition to a pullout couch. We also toured the Saint-Sauveur district on foot and were delighted by the excellent dining options it offered.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The location is fantastic with a grocery store just across the street, restaurants all around, and old Quebec only being a 30 minute walk away. There is noise from street below, but that's to be expected in a city. The apartment is spacious and bright as long as you leave the window covers open in the bedrooms. It did get quite hot at night and the rooms got a little stuffy because of the wooden doors covering the bedroom balconies.

Quebec City Adventure

This was a nice place to stay. The 4 of us were comfortable there. I loved that the rooms opened to the street below. There were lovely shops and patisseries below the residences for a quick bite in the morning before you set out for the day. Kitchen seemed well stocked, although we didn’t use it.

Convenient location. Parking was an issue as someone was always parked in our spot. Place needs to be deep cleaned and needs maintenance on the drains. We had to clean shower and sink drains to be able to use them. One of the bathroom's lights was not working, we finally figured out the issue and fixed it a day later.

Great price, great location…..BUT

I should have been concerned when ear plugs were on the wood night stumps by each bed! The hollow walls offer no barrier to the LOUD and constant noise, music and activity from the businesses below, and the other apts. the bathrooms are ridiculous. I had to use most of the towels to keep the water on the floor safe… I paid to wash all the towels and when requested extra received 2. We are a family of 5. One bedroom had no heat. The kitchen was one butt and we like to cook… plusses good price, great location, good contact info..

Great Stay!

We had an great stay at the redbull lodge. The apartment was exactly as depicted in the description and photos. The host gave thorough information and answered questions promptly. The neighbourhood had everything we wanted in terms of convenience - restaurants, grocery stores, and a pharmacy all within a block. It is a 30 minute walk to old Quebec, and everything else we wanted to do was about a 15 minute drive in each direction. We had a 5 year-old with us and there were some very nice playgrounds within walking distance. The one thing that visitors should be prepared for is the very noisy music venue across the street. We were there in summer when the venue's doors and windows were open and there were concerts every night. The host mitigated this by installing heavy sound-proof window shutters in the bedrooms which keep the rooms dark and quiet, but if you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. That said, it worked perfectly for our group of 6 and we were very happy with our stay.
