This was the worst experience ever we where a hour in our drive to there and the host canceled our stay due to the septic tank backing up in the washroom also the hottub was not available

Cute and cozy little place. Owner was attentive and helpful. Close to Peterborough, but a quiet peaceful spot on the lake.

This trip was made for a family fun get away before dropping our oldest off at Flemming college in Lindsay.Beautiful private property but other than the ease of access, it's kinda been one thing after another. First off hot tub was broke and drained although we were notified by the host, we weren't even offered compensation as this was a high priority...disappointed...we thought it would be fixed or replaced within the 4 months before our arrival.The fridge wasn't working and thanks to Google and my older son he was able to get it working and cold.Almost positive they need a new housecleaner/keeper, 3 empty sugar jars, no towels placed upstairs in the bth.Game room (garage closest to gate) only had a set of pool lights above th pool table and no other working lights for the big space.ALOT of the solar lights are chewed, old and not working.One off the pull down blinds is broke in the family room front window where the sun beams in making it hard to keep it cool inside during the day. Same window has what looks like water damage at the top of the frame. Both bbqs needs to be replaced and their were no utensils only unsafe old wire brushes.On our 2nd last morning (today), we were chased off the back deck when wasps started flying out of the wall by the dozens! There's a guest book you can sign and review your stay, I was reading it and thinkingvthis place was awesome in the beginning and it's prime! It's definitely screaming for some tlc and updates now though.

Hugh Beautiful lot and view. Host was awesome with communication (Responded with in an hour). We had a wonderful week there, would definitely go again. The cottage was clean and very private (gated entry), and I love that it's pet friendly. Only thing (which has nothing to do with the property or the host) the lake is full of weeds and Lilly pads, which was hard on the boat motor. Kayaking and riding around in the paddle boat was great. Definitely recommend
