We’re glad you found check-in, communication, the location, spacious rooms, and game room to be positives, though we’re sorry several issues affected your overall stay. The Buck Hunter game is an older commercial arcade game, and replacement parts have unfortunately been difficult to source. Parts are now on order so the game can be repaired. The ice maker issue is functioning, and pest control addressed the mouse after maintenance was notified and did further precautions after your departure. We completely understand how disruptive late-night noise can be. Unfortunately, we do not manage or control the neighboring homes and cannot enforce rules on their guests. Gatlinburg does have enforceable quiet-hour ordinances, which is why guests experiencing excessive late-night noise are advised to contact local law enforcement, as they are the appropriate authority to intervene. During the temporary trash compactor issue, guests were asked to keep trash secured indoors specifically to avoid attracting wildlife until the problem could be corrected. Unfortunately, we cannot control whether guests at other independently managed properties follow the same precautions. We do not stock reusable food products such as salt, pepper, oils, or other consumables for sanitation and food-safety reasons. This is mentioned in our pre-arrival messages. Silicone pot holders are generally more heat-resistant, easier to clean, and provide better grip than fabric.
