Great Location

We watched whales from the lanai and turtles up close next to the property. An easy walk to Maalaea Harbor to restaurants and the Maui Ocean Center.

Great Place to Relax

Great location if you want to sit back, unwind, and relax. Fantastic vantage for whale watching from the lanai. There's something soothing about a warm breeze, sun, crashing surf and a cup of coffee on the lanai in the morning. The only sounds were the birds and the waves.

Beautiful Views!

We loved staying in Maalaea as it was central to so many things to do in Maui! Fabulous snorkeling, restaurants and golf courses nearby. Highly recommend!!

Honeymooning

It was wonderful! The location and vibes were relaxing. Gorgeous views from the balcony that invite you to stay in and slow down to the sound of waves crashing. We even saw sea turtles! Only downside is getting food poisoning during the trip. It forced us to stay another day but the property manager was so kind and understanding and helped accommodate me during that rough day. Over all, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you again.

Spectacular view!

Loved the view and watching the turtles and surfers! Also loved listening to the waves crashing while sleeping at night. The condo was very clean and conveniently located next to Ma’aleea Harbor with a few options for dining and water activities. Also able to walk to the non-crowded beach within 5 minutes. Would definitely stay at this condo again!

Comfortable, clean home base to explore Maui

This is a peaceful and quiet place to relax and come home to after traveling around the island. The location offers very little to do, so you need a car to be able to explore different areas in Maui. That being said, the unit was a wonderful place to chill out after exploring during the day. The pictures of the unit were accurate. It was very clean and comfortable. We used a fan to draw the cool air into the second bedroom from the single air conditioner in the living room and that seemed to work for our son. We loved the views from the lanai :) And we are thankful for the beach equipment, cooler and ice packs. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great time, clean and wonderful location!

We loved our stay here. It's definitely not in the touristy area of the island, and it was nice to be away from them. There was no walkable beach to go to, but they were only 5 minutes away via car, so it wasn't too bad. The condo was clean, well appointed with goodies like beach gear, cooler, fans, and kitchen equipment. Couldn't have asked for more!

Awesome stay in Maui

What a wonderful stay in Maui. The condo was very easy to get to from airport and in nice area. The view from the balcony was awesome for watching sunrise and looking for whales (although didnt see any during April). Everything you could need was stocked at the condo (kitchen items, washer & dryer, binoculars, and lots of beach items). The pool area was very nice and never crowded. Would definitely recomend staying here

Great view, clean and comfortable

Relaxing and quiet neighborhood with beautiful ocean views from balcony. The kitchen had all the essentials including laundry detergent and dryer sheets for a couple loads of laundry. It was missing spices/oils due to covid. Overall, the apartment was a perfect size for our family of four. The master bedroom is divided by a movable partition (not a real door) and the a/c was a window unit in the living room so the air didn't make it to the 2nd bedroom.

Sunshine and sea turtles

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was comfortable with a split floor plan. There were many sea turtles right outside the seawall throughout the days. We enjoyed driving to Lahaina for the beaches and dinners, as well as Wailia. The pool was very clean and the water was refreshingly cool.

We wanted a place on the water, and this fit the bill. The online description was spot-on! It was exactly as described. Well-appointed condo, quite comfortable. Screen door really needs to be replaced, though. Regarding location: Not a lot in the area as far as restaurants or grocery. But the positive was that there was not a lot in the area (not overly touristy). Enjoyed this trip immensely, and would recommend this particular facility.

First Time With VRBO, But Not Last!

My wife, sister, brother-in-law, and I stayed at a condo (no. 306) here and cannot say enough about it. The property owners stocked it with just about everything one needs for a stay, be it long or short. The view from the condo was amazing, there were shops and restaurants within a short walk, and one can easily get to a grocery by car. One of the things I read was that the A/C did not cover the entire condo. None of us found that to be an issue. The ceiling fans and a floor fan provided excellent airflow and kept the condo cool. For anyone who is looking for a good time to come, I'd recommend the month we were there - March. We were able to watch humpback whales (adults and calves) from our balcony, and the binoculars provided by the property company gave us a nice closeup of the whales' activities.

Maalea - Truly One of Maui's Best Kept Secrets

Beautiful condo with a fantastic ocean-front view. Whale watching every single day and sea turtles feeding along the shoreline every single day. Within walking distance to a sandy beach that was never over-crowded. Five minutes from the Ocean Center, ten minutes from the Wildlife Refuge. We could not have picked a better place to vacation.

Ocean swimming, boogie boarding and surfing (during south swells), and windsurfing with in walking distance to the longest sugary beach on Maui! The Pacific Whale foundation is a short walk from the property so you can walk to your whale watch tour, or take educational classes without a car! A few restaurants to choose from, gas/quick mart and a family activity center featuring water bumper boats, mini golf, extreme trampoline and rock climbing! Their is a charming local store called "Maalaea General Store" 5 minutes by foot, for local eats, espresso, fruits and vegetables, liquor and lite grocery items.
