The Boat House at Black Head with everything you need for an awesome holiday

The Boat House is a great coastal holiday located just a short stroll to Black Head Beach and in the heart of Black Head Village. With an amazing view of Black Head Beach

The property consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 separate living spaces. All bedrooms have linen provided including towels - you will need to bring along your own beach towels. The open planned kitchen has all your necessary requirements that will be needed for your stay.

Washing machine & dryer provided for guests convenience.

This property is strictly no smoking and no pets. Please note, upstairs bathroom has a shower/bath combo.

Important Information – Please Read Before Booking
A $700 security deposit is required on each booking.
Linen is provided for confirmed guests only, please ensure the correct guest numbers are entered at the time of booking. Please note: Bunk bed linen is supplied but bunks will not be made up.
Mid Coast Holiday Accommodation Centre Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings. Guests must sign a short-term rental agreement before arrival. By booking, you agree to these requirements. If the rental agreement is not signed, the booking will be cancelled.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: More than adequate. Great location and views. Property managers were extremely helpful and responsive. The TV remote was faulty and they arranged a replacement immediately. Would stay here again

Great spot for family getaway!

Great view. Kitchen needed a grater. Downstairs bathroom had no mirror, and the door lock was broken. Upstairs toilet had no door lock. Upstairs bathroom had no exhaust fan and no door lock, also no anti slip mat or grab rail for shower over bath - this is a huge falls risk for elderly guests (my parents aged 90 92) and it should be stated in the listing that the shower over the bath is upstairs.

Hot water system gave out, halfway through the stay and then we had a power outage another day. I guess out of anyone's control. Not enough storage or space for 6 people. One bathroom, very cramped. No wardrobe in 2nd bedroom....nowhere to put toiletries etc. No wi-fi which meant no movies etc. Kitchen had enough cooking equipment to eat in. Thankfully the weather was excellent and we were able to go out & about.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay. We apologise for the hot water disruption, however once the issue was reported, we arranged for the system to be replaced the same day to minimise inconvenience. We also understand how frustrating the power outage would have been, though this was unfortunately outside of our control. For clarity, the property does include a second bathroom located downstairs, which has both a toilet and shower. We’re sorry if this wasn’t clear or didn’t meet your expectations. We also take your comments regarding storage and space on board. In regard to Wi-Fi, the property is not advertised as including this amenity, though we understand this may have impacted your stay. We do appreciate your positive note about the kitchen facilities and that you were able to enjoy the beautiful weather and explore the area. Boat House Review

The property and its location and traditional beach style ambience could not be bettered from our point of view.It had fantastic views across the beach/sea and the Blackhead "bowl" which could not be bettered. The open plan living from the kitchen area through to the dining and lounge areas, and then onto the balcony was expansive with beautiful timber floors and comfortable furniture. The three bedrooms were very pleasant with their individual views, and the additional downstairs utility area had everything you could need.To sum up, a great place to stay, enjoy the wonderful adjacent beaches and either relax and read a book or start writing one of your own.
