A cozy centrally located place close to many amenities. Has a master bedroom with a 2 queen bads and a sofa along with it’s own bathroom, and two other rooms with queen sized beds. The place is clean and cozy. You have the entire upper floor to yourself and the host staying in the basement! The kitchen has appliances along with utensils you'll need for a comfortable stay. The place is furnished and 4 mins walking distance from the bus stop. Wifi and parking are included. 1 sofa bads queen size in living area 2 adult can sleep

Check-in was easy; messages were answered very promptly. We loved having a full kitchen (and dishwasher) at our stay - it made meals easy!

Disappointing stay

We have been using VRBO for many years and have always had a great experience with nice properties and wonderful hosts. Our 5 night stay at the Spacious House in Winnipeg was disappointing on many levels. The listing did not state that there was a rental suite in the basement. We had to contact the host to find out how to check in as we were not sent any info through VRBO. There was no binder of information in the unit to explain anything (eg. Recycling, garbage, laundry, etc.). The basement suite was separated only by a sliding barn door with a large gap over the door through which all sounds came … kids playing, baby crying, laundry machines running, etc. The kitchen was poorly equipped with very cheap cutlery, very few drinking glasses, zero wine glasses, one small frying pan, a very dirty stove and oven, a small coffee maker, no kitchen towels, paper towels, kleenex etc. The fridge had no vegetable drawers, light, ice maker or ice cube trays. We phoned VRBO the next day to discuss options and hopefully get a partial refund so we could move elsewhere. They said we would have to speak to the host. The host said we would have to speak to VRBO. The cleaner came to clean the basement suite between renters and asked my husband if we needed anything and he mentioned the lack of kitchen towels so he brought us a few wash cloths from the dollar store. We still have received no compensation.
