Very well kept..rooms are freshly renovated

Awesome room..clean,spacious.and super kid friendly..the Tiki Bar was In full view of the pool..i sat back and enjoyed my drink watched the kids from a distance...we totally ran out of time for activties..we will be back

Smoke and mirrors

1. The listing is deceptive, rooms are assigned and ocean view is not what you will get unless you know to specify that when booking, for the price this was a HUGE HUGE let down right away and could not be moved or changed. 2. Check in is ridiculous and makes no sense. You check in for parking then have to check in again for the room. 3. Elevators are a mess there are so many people and floors and guests 4. Luggage carts that can actually accommodate you are for owners only 5. Room had HUGE glob of hair on the bathroom floor 6. To top all of that off and after the small fortune you have to pay you are given an 11pm curfew and told its practically lights out! Never ever ever ever again!!!!

Thank you for your feedback. We will be sure to pass this information on to Wyndham when they send survey about the cleanliness of the unit. As for any deception. The listing CLEARLY states this is a vacation club resort. Only guarantee is size and dates. The front desk controls floors and views. They can be random from oceanfront, ocean view/city. Assigned at check in first come first serve.

Wonderful experience!

The room was in immaculate condition, beds very comfy, and very roomy for a one bedroom. Overall a wonderful property and would most definitely recommend and rent again!

First time staying at Wyndham in Daytona.

Overall it was an amazing experience. We had a couple hiccups along the way our reservation was set up as a split which we were told upon arrival from the girl at the front desk she took care of everything, well on March 28 I got a text that I was to depart my condo and thank you for my stay and my keys were deactivated. I was scheduled until April 1so after several trips to the front desk and being accompanied by a security guard back to my room since my ID was in there we got everything squared away. Would I stay here again absolutely!!

It was ok

The room was amazing and the host seems like a good host but I didn’t get to deal with them much. The hotel staff aren’t very friendly. My son had a friend who wasn’t even staying with us come visit our room when we got there and security out back accused him of throwing pennies off the balcony. He said he didn’t but what security said went so the front desk manager told us we had to leave after being there for only a half hour. It took us 20 hours to drive there, it was 3am and I begged them to please not kick me out at that time with my kids but they said they have a zero tolerance policy for that so we had to go, even though my son’s friend said he didn’t do it and there was no actual proof. So beware if you have kids and god forbid they act like a kid or get accused of something they didn’t do because this property won’t hesitate to put you and your family out in the middle of the night. I was told by the host that I could not get my money back either so I was out all that money and had to hurry up and find a room for myself and my kids in the middle of the night so it was like I paid for 2 vacations.

THIS IS NOT OCEAN FRONT!!!

The unit itself was fine however, the property listing misrepresented the location of the room. The listing states beachfront, ocean front, beach view, ocean view. Upon walking into our room, we were completely taken aback that the room and balcony overlooked the driveway, parking structure and Atlantic Avenue...NOT the beach and ocean. It was bike week and we knew it would be loud which is why we booked an ocean front room (or so the listing said). We chose this higher category/more expensive room to be on the ocean side of the resort. We knew we would not get any sleep as it was SOOO loud. I contacted the front desk and told them we must have been assigned the wrong room. They told me they didn’t have any more oceanfront rooms and I should contact the person who I booked through. I sent a message to the number on the listing (apparently a broker). He called me almost immediately but simply denied any responsibility. He said there is no guarantee that the room is ocean front and it depends on what is available upon checking. I told him that is not what the listing said...that it in fact says it’s ocean front. After that, he simply cut me off and wouldn’t let me speak and said it was out of his hands and that I needed to go to the front desk and ask if I could be moved. We then went to the front desk but they said they had nothing else for us. Being that it was bike week and spring break there was not a good option for us to go to a different hotel. We suffered for 4 DAYS/NIGHTS on little/NO SLEEP. The road/bike noise permeated through the windows and walls as if we were sleeping on the balcony. The balcony was useless because it overlooked the front driveway, parking structure and street. I would never have paid the high price for that room if I had known it was not ocean front, we would have booked something else. This is fraud and misrepresentation and I would never stay with this booking agent again.

The unit was just as described in the pictures. The unit was clean and very comfortable. Communicating with the owner was easy and she responded very quickly. The unit was stock with everything could need. The unit was very spacious and I enjoyed my stay. Will definitely be renting from Mrs Miriam K again.

Ocean walk is the beach hotel to stay in, in Daytona! The room was nice, roomy and had a great view! Only down fall was it was on the 19th floor so it felt like it was far away but honestly it was great!

Overall great stay!

Overall we had a great stay. The room was very clean, nice, and spacious. Our kids slept on the pull out couch comfortably. There could have been a few more blankets. We could see the ocean from the corner of the balcony which the kids liked but our main view was mechanical of the building next door and the street down below. We loved that the beach was such a close walk from the pool. Was also a plus having the washer and dryer in the unit. They give you a starter set of the wash and dish detergent. The lightbulb in the master vanity was burned out but not a big deal. The large garden jet tub was nice for the kids baths but the shower pressure was very minimal. In the kitchen there was enough pans etc. to make a simple breakfast but not a big meal. Need Measuring cups, more pans, etc. I know most people eat out on vacation which we mostly did but we also made a few breakfasts and light meals for our kids. This is also the farthest room on the floor from the elevator so make sure you try to get a cart. Parking in the parking deck can also be tough and tight. We were in a suburban and a few nights it was almost impossible to find a spot with room due to the parking deck filling up So we did not move our car at night we walked to meals. We would definitely book here again and recommend to friends.
