Cabin in the forest between Banff & Calgary

This heated single room cabin is nestled in the quiet woods at the back of our 2 acre property behind our house. You will have your own private detached bathroom a 5 meter walk away with an indoor shower and flush toilet. Private outdoor cedar shower is a must -try as well! Cabin is heated with an electric fireplace and includes an electric heating blanket. There is no water in the cabin but the washroom steps away has a large sink as well there is a dish station outside with plenty of cleaning supplies. Upon your arrival the gallon carafe of fresh drinking water will be filled as well as the kettle and Nespresso Vertuo machine. The kitchen is stocked with a frig, microwave, toaster and air fryer. You can also grill over the gas BBQ or the firepit (wood provided!). We are across from the Wintergreen Golf Course and 5 minutes away from the hamlet of Bragg Creek which is full of great restaurants and cute shops. Bragg Creek is between Banff ( 1 hr and 15 minute drive) and Calgary (45 minutes drive), Bragg Creek itself is a destination for mountain bikers and hikers with hundreds of trails at Moose Mountain. 5 minute walk from the cabin is a large pond perfect for wildlife and bird viewing.

Excellent spot to launch your Bragg Creek adventures! Nicely appointed cabin tucked into the back yard of the owners property. No real privacy but great if you want a safe cozy spot to enjoy nature. There's a beautiful pond with abundant birds and frogs just a 6 minute walk down the adjacent road; a real treasure of a find. Hosts are wonderful, we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great one-night stay. Even though it got a lot cooler outside than expected and snowed, we stayed nice and cozy here, curled up by the lovely little fireplace. A great stay!

This was a wonderful little cabin, peaceful, quiet and it had everything I needed for a simple, short stay. Nice, welcoming touches like a full kettle and water jug and even a biscuit for my dog. Very convenient location.

Amazing Getaway

A very cute cabin. Had everything we needed to keep warm and cozy during the rain. Close to Calgary and an easy drive to Canmore for some hiking. Nice and quiet. Outdoor shower was so relaxing as well.

Relaxing, peaceful getaway in Canadian Rockies foothills

Amazing cabin in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. My wife and I stayed for 14 days. We saw deer out our back window. The local eateries were amazing. Very friendly people everywhere we went. We drove to Banff multiple times and to Columbia Icefields. Our hosts (Susan and Mark) were wonderful—always helpful and friendly.

Very peaceful

Property came as advertised, but we were struck by how quiet and peaceful it was. The host was excellent and very friendly. Although it is a shred property with the owner we had our exclusive privacy and had a great time while enjoying the outdoors of Bragg Creek.

The cabin was very cute and clean when we arrived. She dropped off blankets for us to use . There was 3 deer we could watch from the cabin.

Absolutely loved the location. Interior was very clean, modest, pleasant and comfortable. Owner greeted us upon arrival. Only issues were that the bathroom facilities were nearby but separate from the actual cabin. There were plenty of amenities, however there was not a sink inside the cabin. Very private. Cabin is set back into the woods.Owners were very gracious.

Relaxing stay near Bragg Creek

We had a great stay at this little retreat. Mark greeted us at the gate and was wonderful. The cabin was super clean and comfortable. The short walk to the washroom and outdoor shower was well lit and robes were provided for comfort. Options for cooking were an air fryer, microwave or grill over the fire. Bragg Creek and area has so much to offer and this was a great place to call home for a few days.

First off the woman who introduced us to the apartment was lovely and super helpful with everything that we needed! But the apartment itself was not the greatest. The gated door that leads into the apartment was a massive struggle for us, the gate lock refused to turn over and kept us either locked out or locked in our apartment multiple times, once locking us in for about 30 minutes. We were visiting some local friends in the area, and all of them said that the area the apartment was located in was not safe. Also expecting us to clean without providing cleaning materials (paper towels, rag, etc.) was not great. The apartment is perfect if you want something cozy to stay in for cheap and looking to save money, but other than that I would not really recommend.
