Hello and welcome! I’m Angus, born and raised in Perth’s northern suburbs and now a full-time homeowner and host. I love creating a warm, comfortable and welcoming environment for travellers, short-stay guests and FIFO workers who need a clean, dependable, and memorable base while visiting Perth.

I’m naturally a tidy, organised person and take great pride in maintaining a modern home that feels peaceful, safe and easy for guests to settle into. Hosting has been a rewarding part of my life because I enjoy meeting people from all backgrounds and helping them feel at home, whether they’re here for work, a holiday, or just passing through.

When I’m not hosting, you’ll usually find me exploring Perth’s food scene, going for walks in the local nature areas, catching up with family, designing some art for my house, or working from my home office. I’ve lived in the area for many years, so I’m always happy to recommend great cafes, shops, walking trails, parks, and must-see spots around the Swan Valley and Perth Hills.

At home I’m friendly, respectful and easy-going. Some guests enjoy having a chat while others prefer complete privacy — both are perfectly fine with me. My goal is to give you the space and comfort you need, while always being available if you have questions or need assistance. Communication is important to me and I respond quickly to make your stay smooth and stress-free.

I chose this area because it offers the perfect mix of convenience, calmness and lifestyle. Beechboro is one of those suburbs that immediately feels welcoming — it’s peaceful, safe, and easy to settle into, yet positioned right in the middle of some of Perth’s best attractions and essentials. For travellers, it’s incredibly practical: Perth Airport is only a short drive away, which makes early flights, FIFO stays or quick work trips simple and stress-free.

One of my favourite parts about living here is how close we are to the Swan Valley. It’s one of Perth’s most iconic regions, known for its wineries, breweries, chocolate factories, cafés and scenic drives. Whether you want to explore local vineyards, enjoy brunch, or spend an afternoon tasting local produce, everything is only minutes away. Caversham Wildlife Park is also nearby — a great spot for meeting kangaroos, koalas and discovering native animals up close.

The area has a relaxed suburban feel, with leafy streets, parks, walking paths and friendly neighbours. You’re close to shops, supermarkets, cafés and takeaway options, so grabbing groceries or dinner is always easy. I like that everything you need is close by without the noise or busyness of the city.

Transport is also a big reason I love this location. There are frequent bus routes along the surrounding streets that connect straight to major train stations, giving you simple access to the CBD, beaches, and the wider Perth metro area. If you’re driving, Tonkin Highway and Reid Highway are only minutes away, making it effortless to travel north, south, east or west. It’s a great base for exploring the Perth Hills, the coast, or heading into the city for a day out.

Overall, I chose this area because it’s comfortable, convenient and balanced — quiet enough to relax, but central enough to enjoy everything Perth has to offer. It’s a place where guests can unwind, feel safe and enjoy a smooth, stress-free stay.

What makes my property truly unique is the combination of comfort, personality, warmth and thoughtful design. The home was newly built in 2024, so everything feels modern, fresh and well-maintained, but it also has a creative, uplifting energy that you don’t often find in standard rentals. Every room has been styled with curated artwork, thriving plants and personal touches that create a bright, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. It’s a home that feels both inspiring and calming at the same time.

Unlike many private-room stays, guests have access to spacious, clean and well-organised shared areas: a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, a relaxing outdoor courtyard and a tidy laundry with everything you need. The house is designed so that guests always feel comfortable, supported, and able to enjoy both privacy and freedom during their stay.

The private guest room is cozy, comfortable and set up with everything you need for restful sleep, including blackout curtains, soft lighting and simple touches to help you feel at ease. The bathroom is directly opposite the bedroom and shared only when I’m home, so most stays allow guests to enjoy it as their own private space.

Another unique part of this home is the peaceful and safe environment. The neighbourhood is quiet, friendly and incredibly convenient, with easy access to the airport, Swan Valley, nature parks, shops and public transport routes. Guests often comment on how relaxed and “at home” they feel here.

And of course, there’s Simba — my friendly American Staffy who loves pats and brings a warm, happy presence to the house whenever he’s around.
